What Exotic is the most overhyped in your opinion?
For me it's the Jade Rabbit.
Oh I so wanted to like it, but I really hate it.

I used jade rabbit when I first got it but only because it was the first primary that dropped for me at 310. It's ok for PVE as long as you consistently proc the exotic perk, but it's basically useless in pvp, you might as well use any legendary high impact scout instead. So yeah - I agree with you on the rabbit view. Pity, it should have been epic.

Everyone was gawking over how it'd be the next Gjallarhorn when in reality, the damage from a Sleeper Simulant headshot is comparable to 2 Black Spindle headshots while fully giving up the crowd control capabilities of LMG's/Rockets. It's not a bad weapon, but it's more of an exotic you pull out for fun when you're not playing seriously.

Mida. It's a solid gun, but i prefer a weapon with utility. Crowd control and super cool downs? Juju or zhalo. Health gen? Red death. Or any legendary primary with Grenadier is nice and leaves my exotic slot open. Mida is just eh outside of pvp. And even then i prefer other guns over mida.

The mythical gally year two version that'll never be released. Bungie finally gally proofed the bosses by making them about critical hits to stun and do mass damage. Even if gally y2 came out, I'd probably still use sleeper or machine gun or sniper in the raid especially. It might get used in strikes, but that's it.
