I don't have much to say the video basically shows how broken of a mechanic it is. What do you guys think should it be taken out of the game, or nerfed/tweaked or is it perfectly balanced?

IMO you should not be able to ready a damn sniper rifle in the same amount of time an auto, hand cannon or and primary take. That is broken plain and simple and THE reason scrubs are able to wield a 1KS like they do. People are running it like a primary weapon because of aim assist and entirely too many special ammo crates in PvP. And don't even get me started on how many heavy rounds swords hold...

33 RepliesAim assistance is annoying and funny at the same time. I feel the snipers with aim assistance are pretty fair hence Weylorans March. However, 1000 Yard Stare is a different case. I really don't like it how it can rez snipe and have high A.Assis.

Honestly I think part of that is some lag between the two people. There is some lag calibration between the two people. Its part of the crap servers. You want to fix something fix the damn servers.

I would just make the aim assist the same on all snipers so people stop -blam!-ing whining about it. Almost as bad as damn Daniel and the nerf fusions cancer.

1 ReplyTake out aim assist? This is not mouse and keyboard. You have to have aim assist in console fps. Ppl wouldn't hit shit and it would broaden the gap between noobs and good players. You clearly don't have a clue what u r talking about .

I am not in favor of any change that makes it harder for me to obtain generally crappy Raid gear and weapons.... Please Bungie, make no change that slow down the PvE game.

it's a good thing and a bad thing. if they get rid of it res sniping will get worse. this is because people use the aim assist to take the sniper off the player they r resing and without the aim assist sliding in front of that person won't work

I commented on the video its not aim assist its game lag or or 2 big of a hit marker the hit from the gun hit the gun on the guys back after he fired aim assist means it followed him there's a difference sorry 2 tell you (I've been shot by every rifle jumping, slideing, shadowstep,an after I ran behind a wall or cover)

I don't mind it in all honesty. The only change with aim assist I'd like to see is the option to turn yours off.

Snipers and AA isnt the problem you.people are just complaining because shotguns and fusions got nerfed making them more relevant so.no.Snipers shouldnt be touched at all but buff shotguns and fusion

People always use this lag excuse. This game is riddled with lag, making the AA that much worse. We know they can't/won't fix the lag, so let's fix snipers so they aren't so absurd.
