The First Curse
The Gun itself is a curse. Extremely SLOW rate of fire. I would honestly like to see it have AT LEAST the RoF of the Eysluna or Ace of Spades. Honestly at the state it is in right now it's just not worthy of that Exotic title in my honest opinion. The perk would be a lot more useful if I could actually use all the bullets in the gun instead of being outgunned by EVERY gun in the game in a battle. Just to note there are RARE hand cannons with the SAME impact as the first curse..the only difference is they reload faster, have a higher RoF, and more stability and don't have the exotic perk. And ofc..drop your light level. I just don't see "The First Curse" being worthy of the Exotic title at this point in time.

Ahhh I love this gun! It's not top tier but in the right hands it can be ver good. She's taken me to the lighthouse a few times. You just got to appreciate it's power but respect it's rate of fire. Aim carefully!

4 RepliesAre you out of your mind? The thing hits as hard a sniper. If anything it needs more recoil and slower rof. I went up against one in trials and the guy wrecked my team.

The first curse is a really powerful hand cannon you just have to take your time with it it's not the last word and should t e used like it it rewards careful shot placement and taking time to place your shots

I did this quest when it first came out. That's the only reason I can justify its name first curse. When it first came out it was a FCKING curse doing that quest. 5 shots with accuracy that couldn't hit sweet fck all..... Hawkmoon is better and last word is killer also......

I said the same thing at first. Just get used to it. It is very easy to place head shots. And as a gunslinger, when first curse perk kicks in with the stability and reload perks at the same time. It's almost like the year 1 hawkmoom after nerf #2.

1 ReplyI got a 45kill game in rift with defender titan using it. It's a beast of gun. You obviously haven't learned how to use its double and triple down potential yet. It's been my main weapon for the past few weeks now.

Just finished the quest line the other day. I have to wait till arms day to try it. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it. The quest was much easier than I thought it would be much easier than chaperone quest.

It's just not a good pvp weapon. It's pretty good in pve though, it one shots almost anything that's not a yel low bar

It's actually really good pvp if you land those head shots that exotic perk becomes amazing and it's one of the only hand cannons left who can 2 shot headshot if your opponent has a low amor build you just have to practice with and stay in medium to long range

The perk should just give a precision damage bonus. It's still a pretty good gun in PvE but it does need a little something extra to make it a true exotic
