WTF??? This has got to be the worst Weekly Update right? Absolutely zero relevant information. Can't wait to see how many people tune in to learn about how the audio is made.......

I stand corrected. This weeks was worse
-
I feel a little sorry for the Audio Team that will be on next weeks stream. The music and audio in Destiny is amazing (both the original game and TTK). I am genuinely interested in more information about the creative decisions and processes they go through to reach end product, no sarcasm....BUT (and it's a big one) not after a 5-6 month drought in new game content!! I love this game, I've played it a lot, I got value for money, I don't have any issue with that. I just wish they would grow a pair and make solid statements about planned upcoming release dates and content and stop all this cloak and dagger, teaser "wait and see" drip feed of hints bullshit. It's disrespectful to their player base. Having come from a software development background, I get that deadlines can be missed, release dates can be pushed, unforeseen bugs can develop late stage that are problematic, I'm not asking for a concrete set in stone absolute commitment date, just the current plan, thats all. Unless they don't have one...
-
Hear we had trouble picking out the right whale calls to merge to make this, we knew we wanted to use a blue whale as the base, but didn't know if we wanted orca or hump back to mix with it, and here we chose to mix a garbage disposal and a monkey screech.... Honestly this ride along seems like it'll be the most useless.

6 RepliesYou all have some very lofty expectations...they have already said they are working on content. Just because they don't or are not ready to spell it out for you yet doesn't mean they deserve all this hate. Good grief, you all need to get some patience... They will share once they are ready. It's coming, chill, eat a snickers. Never seen such a group of people that #hatehard as much as this community.
-
They will wait until after The Division has released because a new game always sucks the air out of the room. Maybe an announcement after 2 to 3 weeks. Then new content 2 to 3 weeks after that. My guess only, though.

Should rename it: Bungie's Weekly Bollocks
-
Give Deej a break. He's busy advertising his clan's Battlefield 4 server.
-
BUMP! I couldn't give a rat's ass about the game's audio! Is Bungie totally broke???

Last weeks was worse

24 RepliesI still don't understand why some people are still defending Bungie. They haven't given us any information on what's to come and they don't even address any of the in game problems except for SBMM which isn't that big of a problem. If anyone tries to say "they need time" "how about you try and make a game", take a look at Black Ops 3. Treyarch notices a problem, addresses it on various forms of social media, and fixes it in a week. Bungie had 6 months and they haven't done anything that appealed to the community except for supposedly "fixing" lag. Also don't try to tell me that they are different games because they have very similar mechanics like any other fps. This is honestly ridiculous and a very poor job by Bungie.

6 RepliesEdited by chrisEm: 3/4/2016 2:28:57 AMI was really expecting some type of reveal this week, especially with the division right around the corner. It would have been a great way to generate hype and maybe draw a few people back in. But no, damage referee and audio twitch stream, no one cares about that stuff. Give me SOMETHING to look forward to Jesus Christ the whole "we have more to show at a later date please stay tuned" act is more over used than the 1000 yard stare. I have to say, Bungie really is horrible at PR. If they didn't build such an amazing game with spectacular mechanics I would have been gone a long time ago. Hell, PvE is so dry now it's not even worth playing. Trials is why I'm still here and even that is frustrating at times with all the server issues and it's only on weekends. I'm at the point now where trials is all I play. Iron banner is a joke. I really hate how they are getting away with how poorly they treat the gamer because once they add new stuff to do I will be supporting them. Do they deserve my support? No. But at the end of the day I'm here to play fun games, not get into politics.

27 RepliesLet's say today's "this week at Bungie" told every minute detail of the spring update. Okay, great, now what? I don't get why so many people are up in arms over not getting news of something that hasn't come out yet. Seriously, what good does knowing about it do? Do you need information so you can make an informed decision on whether or not to buy the free update? Do you need to write exact details of the update on your binder? Do you work for a gaming magazine & have to get a new destiny article to your boss by 5AM tomorrow? Can anyone answer my question? Why is it so important for Bungie to release more information on the update right now?
-
2 RepliesSidearms.
-
1 ReplyDidn't read it but they probably said there's an update coming next week like the past 6 months
-
2 RepliesWhat? Are they nerfing fusion rifles?
-
Did you expect it to be good?
-
3 RepliesI'll just leave this here as an example of how it is done. Bungie; take notes
-
The weekly update is pretty much useless and pointless. They won't tell you anything because they want everyone to buy into this whole twitch thing that they are doing. I could care less about the twitch just tell us what's going on
-
Are they interviewing Martin O’Donnell? Nope, they fired him and recycled his material into community outreach program. HAHA I love coming here and seeing the dumpster fire.
-
I commented already, but I would like to point out this little gem: "And, to point out the elephant in the room (and the salt in our chat window), we know we’re on the hook to tell you more about the next things we’ll do to infuse your PvE lifestyle with new challenges." Welp, consider their death warrant signed
-
Bungie is garbage.
-
1 ReplyTheres a clear disconnect with the community and bungie. I have a post suggesting an open dialogue between Bungie and the community instead of this nonsense. Let me know on your thoughts. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/194760392/0/0/1

Edited by Mr.Shickadance: 3/4/2016 5:58:05 PMI'm glad this is all happening. Now future developers can use Destiny as the "roadmap " to even better games. Had my fun (+600 hrs). Not really interested anymore and ready to move on. I just wish I could have seen what Destiny was SUPPOSED to be. I'm sure in that developer commentary/interview they will give nods to Destiny and Division as Destiny gives nods to previous ground(genre)breaking games.
