Nobs who just pick up heavy without waiting 3 secs
This is why I hate playing banner with a team of randoms. There should be a rule that if you pick up the heavy without waiting, you explode every time you fire your rocket launcher/machine gun. That would be funny to see. I understand if the other team is rushing the heavy but it's usually little selfish only child bastards who don't understand the concept of sharing.

It's great to see so many decent people who understand the concept of the point I was trying to make. All the other guys who think waiting 3 seconds for the heavy makes you weak, have a lot to learn about team play.

I'm that guy that tries to get the other team's heavy. So, if I make it, I pop it as soon as I get there.

I usually call out for my team to get to the heavy as soon as possible before I pull it. If the other team is rushing, I just pull it so they can't get it

I used to NEVER pop the heavy- meaning I was there to defend it until my teammates got there, and one of them would pop it. In time, I saw the wisdom of not getting killed and allowing the other team to grab it (if multiple enemies were rushing me), so I'll pop it if none of my teammates are near but I've got red blips. I still tend to try and defend- and often die. But I suppose if my team gets the heavy, then it was worth it.

Can't always wait 3 seconds, but I get the point and agree. If there's no red blips, you can wait a bit (although can't wait too long on maps with clear line of sight between heavies like pantheon and bannerfall as the other team could just turn and shoot).

4 RepliesI got 2 people killed today for dick moves, i pushed a guy who snatched heavy into the line of fire And some jerk decided to jump right in front of me and snipe the lane I was shooting down and steal kills, so i kept running in front of him when he was shooting and he got pissed and ran down the hall and died. Also, i will jump in front of your rockets if you solo the heavy when the team is clearly on the way, I've killed people that way too. Such a dick move

I will say I'm guilty of this, sorry if any one was a victim. But I will wait 98% of the time. 1% I grab it because there's a player from the other team there. And the last 1% the team I'm on or members of the team are being d bags.

I'd just like to add when I was playing IB I chose to run the infamous Mida which meant my rocket launcher of choice the truth was unavailable. So instead of taking the heavy I would attempt to stop the other team getting there thus hopefully allowing more time for my other team members to pick up the heavy and forfeit it myself. I think more people on a team should try this as everyone else just seemed to want the heavy for themselves.

Fcuking right mate! Especially when it's clear on the radar that you are heading towards the ammo box. Fair enough, if the enemy is getting too close then I'd rather one guy on the team grab it instead of the enemy having it. But what is it with these retards!?! Greedy, mindless cnuts! Games have been completely turned around because 5 out of the six players on the team grabbed heavy. All because I or someone waited for a few seconds.

2 RepliesSorry but I'd rather be the only person on my team having it rather than waiting and getting annihilated by a super or sniper, keeping the other team from getting it is more important than making sure everyone on my team has it imo.

More like, how come a 6 man team is dead center between heavies and they all go for one heavy instead of splitting and pushing the other teams heavy Heavy is bait. I usually defend it just out of range of getting it when its pulled

21 RepliesHeavy shouldn't be in crucible anyway, the heavy "rounds" can ruin a game. Only Mayhem modes and Combined Arms should allow heavy ammo. Nothing else. So I'm all for less people having it.

I agree with you 100 percent. Especially like in my case four guys were just 10 feet away from the box running full speed toward it and the funking Noob just picks it up with no enemies in sight. Usually i punch and shoot at them so maybe next time he will check his radar.

4 RepliesYeah it's awesome all waiting for heavy in one sausage stroking fest to all die to a super or nade. If you're ass isn't there within 4 seconds then too bad. Seriously though the few times I went for heavy I died waiting. The few times I got heavy I died. Doesn't seem to work for me.

I know that waiting for your team at heavy is just common sense, but sometimes having your whole team at heavy is situational. Sometimes it's better to take heavy immediately, sometimes it's better to wait for people. You just gotta judge the situation that you are in and act upon your decision is all.
