Stop playing the meta
Seriously. So many people complain they always have to play sweaty....how about don't, suck up the loss and play with diversity. Then maybe every game and event won't be two weapons the entire time. I guess this is more to streamers setting the example but seriously if I see another planet destiny video where they bitch about always having to play sweaty with -blam!-ing Mida and 1000 yard footage in the background only doubling everyone else's score I'm gonna go on a relentless troll spree. Stop padding your stats and try other weapons. They do not matter [b]at all[/b]. In the end you'll get more casual matches and an even easier time when you do decide to play sweaty except for high card trials so please
For the good of the community and yourselves stop playing the meta. Switch it the -blam!- up

Out of frustration I tried to use the Mida for a few matches. I couldn't hit anything. I've always used the Suros Regime....even after the AR nerf....It's just the gun I use for pvp. I'm not happy that a Mida can still kill me at close range even if I get the drop on them. It dosn't happen all the time...but man...in the right hands that Mida is unstoppable.

1 ReplyBeing forced to play sweaty is being forced on us by the matchmaking changes. Being force fed competitive matches constantly over and over and over again is the problem. You can't go into games and just chill and enjoy yourself. It's matchmaking thats the issue, not the weaponry.

3 RepliesI actually agree with u. Streamers do set the precedent and it is 110% "sweaty try hard" 110% of the time. This perspective on the crucible has ruined it for the rest of us who just want to use a fusion rifle and have fun but can't because you can barely get a charge off with everyone spamming Doctrine and Last Word. I wonder what would happen if all the streamers just started using things no one really uses and what it would do for the community.

I bought a 280 hard light just to have some fun today in iron banner. I don't get the need to play so sweaty.

Idk what you're talking about, I haven't seen a meta as widespread as this one since launch, let alone the fact that there are good guns in each primary type, versus the past where it was either all HC's or all auto's. At this point the only changes I see would be buffs to some of the underused stuff, like sunbreakers, fusion rifles, and catapult (been pushing for catapult to be good since I first played a Titan lmao)

13 RepliesI went 25-0 with the gunsmith's test hand cannon and the test sniper. It was glorious. Also, Mida was my baby since vanilla. I knew how good it was then and used it through all of the metas since. Combined it with a shotgun to cover the closest of ranges, from found verdict through conspiracy theory. Now i feel dirty using it. No Land Beyond and a sidearm ever since.

3 RepliesI switch my shit up damn near every match. I can't have fun playing with the same gun for too long. Hell I got the "top overall score" with a crappy Does Not Bow just last night in IB. Two Iron Banners ago I got my first Unbroken medal using a Not Like The Others and an unleveled Deidris's Retort. I find I do much better playing with what I like.

9 RepliesI rotate through my stock of Y1 weapons with 3rd eye in crucible play. I don't cater my style to Meta. I find that the best answer to thorn/TLW users is 2-3 head shots with my Timur's Lash. The best counter for Mida is my NITC and staying a good distance away from them. And my Patience/Time is more than capable of going toe-to-toe with 1k Stares.

1 ReplyI hate sniping. I'll never understand the fun with camping and sniping. I can't stay in one place that long. I like going where the action is. What I've found on these forums is the ones that do it then call you out for talking about trying something new are scared. Much like the criers hatin on you. Good post. Bump
