Being a Sunsinger... Harder than you Think

What's going on People? Suddenly Sunsingers are "OP"? Well, for those out there who are unaware of our Struggle..... *For Y2 players, Firebolts have been nerfed in TTK alongside ArcBolt greande, Firebolt previously dealt 97 Damage and got a range reduction; from 8 m effectiveness to 6 m. *Sunsingers have been running Viking + Firebolt for over a year now. (And no one complained, so why now?) *Neutral Play is everything we've got for PVP *Sunsinger SubClass has an average k/d of 1.0, compared to other classes with higher K/D *We'd be running different set ups if the other Perks weren't Jokes; Sunburst, Solar Wind, Song Of Flame, Brimstone. Take the Stormcaller or Nightstalker for example, all perks make up for diverse class mechanics. *Fireborn in 6V6 is a Joke... and mostly in 3V3 too, a Real Sunsinger goes RadiantSkin. *One Hit melee usually only procs once during Radiance *Radiance is one of the easiest supers to shut down, seriously, It's laughable. *Despite of being able to throw 13 grenades per Super (HoTPF and 100% Discipline) we often don't get QuadKills like the Gunslingers, Bladedancers, Stormcallers and Sunbreakers. *If you don't have a discipline focused Build your only benefit from your Super is Increased Armor, wow. *Your Super Effectiveness is totally Dependent on your Stats (Disp. Strenght.) Destiny's CryBabies Will not put a filthy finger on the Sunsingers for We are a Beacon of Hope, Truth and Light. [b]"There are Flames that not even the Darkness can Extinguish"[/b]

    Yep because it's really not OP if an auto locking grenade takes your health down to under a quarter whilst not letting your shields recharge for ages. Definitely is balanced in every way. Edit: lol at funmachine and sactownnoob. It's hilarious how butthurt you are.

      People always find something to b!tch about. It is a year one subclass, and viking funeral+ firebolt was used since day one in Crucible. And now some crybabies want to nerf the last class that didn't got a nerf. For no reason. Just out of nowhere: WHAAAA WHAAA WHAAA! WARLOCK SUNSINGAS ARE OPEEEEEEEE! NERF! NREF! NERF! Most of those guys who scream for nerfs are probably kids from 12-14. Anyone who is above that age, and complains like a b!tch needs to get his sh*t together. Edit: the only good thing about sunsingers are their flameshield, and burn grenades. That's it.

        • Nah, trying being a striker or sunbreaker, that's difficulty. I main Titan and get minimal kills, usually surviving the 1.0 k/d, whereas when I play warlocks, I get kills left and right. Sure I have bad games, but still.

            "I used my Sunsinger for this one particular game against players worse than me and went 20-5 and I main a Titan with .8k/d so they're really strong". Those comments are dumb. Anyway I hate how Sunsingers are designed. Their talent tree is the worse next to Sunbreakers as there's only 1 viable option in each column. I rather see a complete redesign to them to make it more of a Priest kind of class instead of this Fire Mage, so more support based really and less offensive perks.

          • You also forgot to mention that teams of triple sunsingers in trials have an 80% win rate. A lot of streamers who do carries use sunsinger because it is one of the best PvP classes. People didn't know sunsingers were good until trials was released during house of wolves. The initial damage isn't the problem it's the damn burn. I get hit with a firebolt in PvP I can't do anything for like 15 seconds. I can get shot by 1 bullet and a firebolt and I burn out and die. I think bungie should address the DOT not the initial hit.

            • In 3v3 sweaties or trials the perk Viking Funeral is ridiculously powerful. It always has been. It has recently moved to the forefront of the nerf brigade because of the increasing number of sunsingers in those gametypes. Everyone I play with agrees that sunsingers are very easy to use due to their grenade and melee.

              • The fact that in Radiance you can see people on your radar and just throw grenades around corners or into rooms without having to expose yourself to damage is pretty damn useful I'd say...

                              • Explain to me why warlocks have auto rifle range melee then. And why they get a shield from hitting someone with melee. And why firebolt burn brings health down to the point where a well placed tennis ball could kill me, or a shot from necrochasm. It is ridiculous
