It's funny how 99% of the people who hate snipers have a negative kd.
If there were only primaries in this game, you would still get your ass kicked. Just because you can't snipe doesn't mean it needs to get nerfed haha

I dont like snipers. And I hate sniping even though Im pretty decent at it and dont have a negative k/d. I love shottys. Shoving those shells in people's throats is the most satisfying thing in any game.

2 RepliesSnipers are fine and very simple to counter. If all people do is hard scope, you should only ever die from that person once. If you keep getting killed in the same spot by the same guy you deserve to be killed.

You're right. So because of this hard evidence, anytime someone post a complaint about sniping I automatically write them off as a scrub.

1 ReplyProbs true. I don't have a negative k/d but I know I'm not good, and ive never really had that much of a problem against snipers as many on here seem to have. [spoiler]Don't come after me for my trials k/d, the two friends I went in with cheated me and started doing Crimson suicides on trials to farm gear drops quickly (they got none). Those messy asshats, it was my first run at trials and they screwed me over.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyHow come the "pros" never want to admit they are walking on crutches? I mean if a negative kd like me can use a sniper and get a decent precision ratio that has to say something in itself. Also all this hate on locks. Tsk tsk. Just recently started enjoying playing as a blade dancer and I gotta say it's one of the most forgiving subclasses. I mean I get a 50% defense buff and and I move faster than anything on the battlefield. Every kill restores health and whrn therr is a huge gap all I have to do is spam the melee button and it will be closed in no time. Thats right my super energy just slowly drained when not connecting hits. Basically they put training wheels on it for players like me. Thay way I can just spam the button and get multiple kills. I believe I am gonna be playing pvp as my hunter from here on out. Been playing as a warlock main since day 1. I now realize I've been doing it all wrong.

That's because shotgun trading doesnt work well when the other person kills them from 50 yards.

I agree. With no round drop off and no sway, Destiny is the perfect place for beginners to learn how to snipe. 10 shots to the player and your eye never leaves the sight. Everyone should be pretty good at snipers here...until all the shotgun and primary shooters leave because it's boring. Wait...already happening. Have fun trying to snipe the other snipers.

2 RepliesI just use sniping to kill people. I mean, hey. Not to knock anyone elses skills. But the ultimate goal is to kill other players. If my sniper can get good k/d, then I would assume I'm using it right.

That's ridiculous. 99% do however main shotguns, or were just used to getting killed by them all the time instead of snipers. And subsequently moved on from moaning about that particular weapon to the next.

Its funny how many people still put their whole integrity into this game and make these kind of posts. Its funny how many people still care about their destiny stats. Its funny to watch people take a game so seriously when they don't get paid for it. Its funny to think most of the people that post this kind of stuff is probably people who get their games paid for by their parents. Shut up and get good, and or paid, and or laid. The people in this community are shallower than sink water dont be like them. Stay cool, show respect.
