Hello,
I just wanted to share some thoughts on Trials of Osiris, and add a slightly more rewarding aspect to this weekly event.
I have yet to go 9-0, but what I do know is that there are a lot of highly skilled players in Trials. Most of these people I will never be able to compete with unless a miracle happens, but I still play for the fun of it.
Lately it has felt as though it is unrewarding and it does not give lower skilled players such as myself a great chance to get to the lighthouse.
I'm not asking for a free run to the top, but adding, say, "levels" to the lighthouse would bring a lot more attention to the Trials. For instance, there might be 5 floors. The lowest floor is 3 wins with miniscule rewards like spinmetal, glimmer, or weapon parts. Maybe even a green engram just for fun. 5 wins is the next level up, with one blue engram, and some glimmer. 7 wins is a small chance at a legendary engram, but guaranteed two blues.
9 wins (but not perfect) could give a legendary and an "imperfect" banner. It might guarantee a 280 trials piece of gear, or an extra boon/passage coins for your next run.
9 wins perfect could have an exotic, a legendary, shader, banner, and every single floor below it, giving perfect players what they deserve, but it would stop punishing lesser skilled players for giving it a shot and at least trying.
-thanks for the time

Good ideas, but without the blues. Blues are practically scrap.

3 RepliesYou mean like the bounties ?? Rewards however you play

I like it. Getting 9 wins (with a loss) and it yielding nothing seems very odd.

5 RepliesIt was very similar to that in year one where you got packages for certain amounts of wins but they replaced it with the bounties that have a chance to drop trials gear and exotics aside from the lighthouse chest. It was better that way in my opinion
