IRON BANNER + RIFT= Bungie are Idiots.
Pretty stupid move to pick that mode for IB way to go iditos.

11 RepliesThis is by far the worst Iron Banner event of year 2. For a dev team that's been shouting "making it more balanced' for the entirety of their game's lifetime this has been an imbalanced mess. If they just look at how many mercy rules, score differences and 'team breakups" have been dropped they should update and run Clash or domination for the rest of the event The game is set within the first 5 minutes, there's no such thing as a come back once one team has total control of the spark WORSE YET the team spawn!!! The objectives are stationary so nothing changes at all, there are no alternates to focus on Connections are still garbage, shoot a guy 5 times and maybe he might take damage from the first 2 after he's killed you with a shotgun to the face because the matrix has chosen him at 'the one'. loot is the only thing keeping people around and it just gets horded by the RNG gods who pick their favorites and laugh as the rest rage and starve from lack of stuff. I just want that Scout rifle even though there's nothing else to do in this dried up waste of time of a game, but there's no way to progress in IB without wins which are near impossible to get

I actually don't mind bungie switching things up. I think it's actually fun. Some games Ya you get destroyed but that happens in all game types.

I'm fine with it tbh. If playing solo, just worry about getting kills, someone has to, besides there is always someone blinding trying to carry the spark. I hope next IB is mayhem clash.

Every game go Into I'm always on side with 7000 vs other side at 17,000. Even after it finds new match still same. I do try my hardest but seems rift with new connection based thing has -blam!-ed iron banner. I couldn't even be -blam!-ed playing destiny any more because of this

1 ReplyI refuse to play IB rift. As a solo player I hate rift anyway. IB just makes it worse. Clash was the best IB to date.

I don't think rift is for iron banner, after more than 15 - 20 games, this is my opinion. Iron banner has been for the solo players in the past. Majority of solo players are having difficulties right now from what I see on the forums and include my self. There have been games of course I have won. This seems more to a fireteam type of style. Which most people do not play iron banner for it seems. The devs already said when rift first released, rift is a game mode that needs more communication. Oh well, we'll see what future holds after this week.

2 RepliesTo me Rift is the same as Control. If you play solo you always get people who don't know how to play the objective. In Rift you get people who don't try to even come near the spark or defend your rift. In control you have the one idiot who tries to triple cap and ends up flipping spawns when you have an advantage already. Clash has been the best so far but it's easier to hide low KD players with Rift.
