The Spark does not turn you into Forrest Gump.
This is all I see in IB with randoms. People just grab the spark and tunnel vision the enemy rift. Like they're playing PvE or something where you can run past the AI and they'll miss. You have a team for a reason. Let them pave a pathway for you instead of just sprinting to the other side and praying you get lucky.

6 RepliesI think it's smarter to do that honestly. I mean as long as the other team doesn't pick up the spark, you will always have the advantage whether or not you score it. The running points are good too. Just camp around the spark.

2 RepliesIt's always situational. If I see the opening I'll grab the spark and run for it. You'd be surprised at how discombobulated the other team can be when they're so busy trying to get kills. There have been a few games where I'll grab the spark and run to the enemy rift and no one is defending it. Again, it's situational. Other times it's smart to run with your team.

Whenever I'm the runner I just blink straight to the enemies rift and get it in seconds Other times if I see an opportunity I'll run with a small task of 2-3 and they'll super everyone down for me

Damn near waited the full spark time for my team to "pave the way". Was very frustrating hiding and shot gunning by myself.

Good, now buy a mic and share your tactic with your team. Unless they have muted you for being obnoxious they will hear you.

My randoms usually use me as bait/human shield when I have the spark.

Yeah it's pretty stupid that's why I generally try to get the spark

No doubt. It's not as if the enemy can pick it up if they kill you: run back to get with your teammates who are around/spawning in from getting killed at the spark seconds before.

Know routes with teammates and you can run and they'll only have to take one or two out, and with enough skill in movement, you can dodge people.
