You ruined this game if you bought emotes
If you paid for them then well done.
Bungie would rather milk you for your money with emotes and scams like the sparrow race book rather than making actual playable content.

Bungie is the one who took the route to form an in game currency that can be bought with real money. I have not bought an emote besides two with the silver everyone got for free. But I do not blame anyone for buying emotes or sparrow packages. They crave new content. Putting blame on people is not going to solve anything

Without silver purchases we we still wouldnt have a dlc and those that do enjoy festival's wouldn't have them. As for heavy ammo being sold, heard that was fake. But I definitely see pay to win headed Destiny's way.

I have played many games with micro transactions. And even put money into them. Why because I enjoyed the experience and the extra items only added to MY experience and overall enjoyment. Which is the point of the person choosing the game in the first place. Destiny compared to other games is hardly a heavily featured micro transaction game. A few emotes will not break a game or stop future content as they have made their money and then some all ready. The money we pay for micros goes towards the mini events....which add excitement untill they bother with dlc or future titles...

19 RepliesI responded to this post sarcastically earlier, but after reading a reddit post that from a supposed Bungie employee, whether its true or not, it made me realize something... The guardians who purchase emotes and whatever else Bungie is selling, are the ones willing to help support a game we enjoy, and are invested in... We are quite possibly the reason Destiny is still up and running...and the ones actually paying for future content... With all that being said, the next time you see a guardian using an emote, you should thank them, not ridicule them for supporting a game they enjoy... Now, go somewhere else, with your hateful posts...
