Do You Guys Think Titan Bubbles Can Be Improved?
i mean, tether can slow people, make every hit a precision hit, take away supercharges if being used
why can't titan defender do such things? i don't mean to say that it should be the same as tether
if we could change armour of light, i would
also, bubbles can be cover for your enemies, unless you have got the helm of saint 14, which is not used for crucible. Bubbles are useless on crucible. If someone walks into a bubble with a super, take it away from them? slow them down?
or how about not letting the enemy go in the bubble (thats a bit op really though)
the bubble could be improved. i am not complaining about how op any other subclass is, its just how under powered bubble is
every other single supercharge is useful on crucible, unlike bubbles, well if you want to sit at the back of the map one shooting people with a sniper with weapons of light, which is a kind of nooby tactic if you ask me. Bubbles can be improved.
I suggest a new perk, which could replace armour of light, where if you walk in the bubble, you can get something called " Agility Of Light" or something like that where you has like 1/3 or 2/3 times more agility, which i think would be a good perk.
Bubbles are just a useless super unless you want to piss around on crucible and lose the game. A golden gun can take out a bubble with 1-2 shots, and kill everyone in it (if has combustion) and the bubble will just not be helpful
how about a perk on the bubble where it lasts around half the time that it usually does but can have a medium chance to deflect all bullets off of the bubble. Maybe that could be a possibility?

If you don't have armor of light or blessing of light, the Ward can't protect once someone walks inside. If they're experienced pvpers, they'll kill you. A smart Defender is generally fine but still. It should automatically reduce the dmg you take while inside even without armor of light. I do think the Titan should gain improved recovery while in the Ward.

Bubbles may be useless in crusible, but there is nothing funnier than sitting inside with armor of light with a shotgun and having everyone think that they will have a chance of killing you

5 RepliesHave you ever run into an enemy bubble in a control match while they wore saint-14? You can't see sh*t. Pretty effective against players running in to shotgun or melee. You just jump out or up as they enter and they're easy prey. Only way I found to be a bigger douche is to run the same set-up, go in and pop my bubble inside his/hers. Theres a video somewhere of 2 titans swinging wildly cause they both can't see sh*t. I do agree it needs a little something more. Maybe have kills while your ward is active gains more grenade energy? Or how about kills while your ward is active extend its duration? I like the idea of imobious, but how about something that makes you leave the bubble rather than sitting in it daring people to enter?

I see it as defender titan isn't the 100% best pvp subclass, and that's fine considering the other two titan subclasses are pretty awful in any high level pve content. I don't think bungie will balance every subclass in both pvp and pve and I'm totally okay with that But that aside, armor of light, helm of Saint 14, and Immobius will always be my go to in control.

Run bastion, max intellect, armor of light, and untouchable (one that reduces cool down and adds more armor) and suppressor grenades. Only thing that beats that set up is a havoc titan or nova warlock.

I always find it funny when 2-3 people are just sitting there with their shotguns ready and then I run in with my striker and hit the Fist of Panic. "Double Down!"

I think we should at least stand a chance against another super, not saying you survive an assault by a sunbreaker but maybe it gives you a fighting chance against strikers and nova bombs. A shield that doesnt shield isn't reliable, I just dont like telling my fireteam to stay out of my bubble because its a super magnet.

I love using bubble in PvP but I wish you wouldn't die inside it if someone supers it. Just take the bubble away. I have been practicing with the suppressor Grenades though and,shutting down arc blades and sunbreakers venturing into the bubble. I think on placement of the bubble it should blind anyone in the vicinity, or suppress them. Like activating radiance or the stormcaller landfall move. Idk I would like a bubble rework for sure.

Bubbles are great. You let someone wipe the team with golden gun next round you push up pop a weapons bubble wipe the team next round golden guns back.

I think Ward of Dawn should be an option on every Titan Super tree. Sunbreaker- Fire bubble. Not a shield like before, but you and any teammates inside gain ~25%(via DoT) additional damage. Anything you shoot, throw, etc out of the Great Ball of Fire is ignited and ignites targets. Ball of fire only lasts 10 or so seconds. Any enemies who attempt to enter are instantly incinerated. The [i]Who You Callin' Hamster[/i] Striker bubble works as stated, it's a big steel cage that only you can get inside. Running around builds up electrical charge. More running/continued full sprint gives 5m shock anything radius in all directions, but not insta-kill. Running over someone deals charged melee damage (~120HP). Runover while charged instakills. Titan can lift (jump inside) and push on top of ball to jump about 1/2 normal jump height, but loses a lot of forward momentum (roll) in the process. Ball lasts 25 seconds and has 2000 HP w no critical damage spots, but no "recovery" for Ball HP. If ball is destroyed during super, broken steel rib skewers Titan.

Should have no animation... instand cast. In pvp once you cast it, people jump in to kill you while you have wide open arms.

6 RepliesLol. Bubbles are useless in crucible. You lost all credibility there. Come in my bubble, you will get a chaperone to the face. You have a super? Suppressor grenade. Defender is the most fun I have in pvp.

5 RepliesI love using defender Titan in crucible, with No Backup Plans, a good shotgun, armor of light, and a good force barrier build. The only problem is that the bubble is a super magnet. The second I place a bubble, I become on high alert for slams and nova bombs. If I so much as see a Titan, i gtfo of the bubble until I'm sure the Titan won't use fist of havoc (though almost always they do). I'm almost safer on the outside of the bubble. I've adapted to it, and I can now tell from a mile away which Titans and warlocks are about to unleash hell, but my teammates are less aware and usually get caught off guard. While supers should be able to shut down other supers, I think nova bomb and slam should only destroy the bubble, not the people inside it. Golden gun should take 3 shots to destroy it. Enemies inside the bubble should be suppressed. [b]The Ward of Dawn needs to be a safe haven, a rallying point for your team; not a danger zone where a Titan slam massacre is waiting to happen.[/b]

3 RepliesI've used Titan for as long as I remember, and ran Defender in PvE and PvP since I discovered the subclass's strength after starting it on raids. But for some reason, I could never pull off a successful use of suppressor grenades in Crucible. I'll practice with it more for sure, but if there's a more effective way of using them instead of lobbing them at someone with an active super I'd be glad to know!

The only improvement would be if weapons of light added void dmg to your primary and blessing of light to your melee.

When I used to play my titan I would really only run defender in crucible with helm of saint 14 suppressor grenade armor of light and a shotty. Dare someone to walk in
