Actually I think it mainly is about gender. There are so many frightened, socially inadequate people on this forum and they all seem to be male. Give them a consequence free means to treat a woman poorly and they'll take it; in real life they have their inadequacies shoved in their face every minute of every day so in the virtual world they crave the chance to be King.
