Why don't you infuse the ugly raid armor ?
Everyone I raid people are using that disgusting hideous armor
I've infused everything but iron banner arms and chest cause I need them on my hunter and warlock and am waiting to see how the exclusive gauntlets are
Iron banner gear is best looking

Ya infusion is good but it's the perks that are important

Personal preference, I actually like some of the raid gear. I have a pvp set and a raid set. The raid gear has perks that help you in the raid, so I wear them. I actually think most of the vendor gear looks pretty plain and weak.

I only have boots so far. I didn't infuse them because they dropped at 300 light (and I already had 299 boots at that time).

Because I collect all raid weapons and Titan armor. Plus, have you ever considered that, minus the helmet, I actually like the look of the War Numen armor?

After I get my other two toons to 320 I'll work on bumping up exotics and IB / legendaries I like visually. Light first.

Because pretty much the only thing I do in destiny just now is the raid and the raid gear has perks that help a little.

some of the raid armor has useful perks, plus since it drops so often, ive been able to get the weapons perks i want (usually extra sniper/MG ammo and MG or sniper loader)

Don't get to raid often enough to sacrifice any of it for things I'd rather use.

i do as soon as im able to and not lose too much light

I only keep raid boots and chest for each character. Only for when I need to run relic. Arms I don't keep as I have sniper rifle loader as a perk on armour I use on each character and that's the only reload perk I need for the raid. (I think my Titan still needs arms with the perk, but my hunter and warlock have 320 arms with the perk) and the raid helmets are useless. Also raid armour is ugly as hell, I would sooner make my IB or ToO gear 320 before keeping a whole set of raid gear.
