Why don't you infuse the ugly raid armor ?
Everyone I raid people are using that disgusting hideous armor
I've infused everything but iron banner arms and chest cause I need them on my hunter and warlock and am waiting to see how the exclusive gauntlets are
Iron banner gear is best looking

I'm not a fan of the King's Fall armour. I infused a couple of pieces into my Trials Of Osiris gear.

5 RepliesI've never understood why people completely ignore the customization aspect of this game and build their character solely on perks. News flash: you can both look good AND have good stats! It's actually pretty funny how ugly a person is willing to make their character in order that they have the best perks equipped. Like damn people, take some pride in your character and make him look respectable.

I prefer to use raid armor for the raid specific perks (more armor with relic, faster movement while torn, etc) and have a separate set from trials for everything else. Doesn't everybody?

I use the raid armor when I'm raiding and I have a separate set for PvP.

Well the warlock has ugly vendor chestpieces. I prefer the raid chest.. until purifier robes is released.. the titan i like the raid gear. My hunter only doesnt have the helmet. I use the shade step helm forgot the name. Other than that my characters look good my hunter being the best looking out of my 3

You can power through CE and VoG without raid armor because you are overleveled, but you need all of the raid-specific perks you can get in KF. 2. You make it sound as if the load-outs you see are the only load-outs that those players have.

3 RepliesIt's not about what the gear looks like. You wear the raid gear because of the perks you get for using it. I agree with you most of the raid gear is ugly but if you've ever run relic at Oryx you would want to have a full raid set of gear on. Why you ask? The helmet gives you more super energy for non guardian kills, the gauntlets grant increased reload speed inside the aura, chest armor gives extra armor when carrying the relic (all elite relic runners know that Oryx likes to shoot death beams at you when you jump on 1st and 2nd platforms) and the boots give you extra agility when carrying the relic. If you didn't already know this chances are you've been carried by a fireteam that did.

I'm working on trials gear atm, I like certain raid pieces specifically for the raid perks, but only use in the raid lol

I prefer the raid gear on most people, I do like the crota bp on my warlock but I can't infuse that to 320

I like the raid armour but, I love the titan one. id do it for my main accounts hunter but other sets of hunter armour are just nasty imo

People do when they get duplicates. There is zero point to lowering your max light level you can be in the heroic raid. Case in point. Got a second set of 320 arms. Put it into my ruin wings which is now at 318. Will do the same for the next duplicate. One could argue I could do that now, but there is no reason to. I don't have to have more heavy for the raid.
