Why don't you infuse the ugly raid armor ?
Everyone I raid people are using that disgusting hideous armor
I've infused everything but iron banner arms and chest cause I need them on my hunter and warlock and am waiting to see how the exclusive gauntlets are
Iron banner gear is best looking

3 RepliesI'm beyond tired of the trend of wearing dead hive parts. It's lazy, "Oh we'll just make them look like hive". As far as I'm concerned there isn't any especially good looking armour. I like iron banner gear but there isn't any awesome end game gear. Which is why I don't care to do the raid.

1 ReplySomeone gets it. I've always done this. Zero pieces of raid gear on my characters. Who cares about one or two perks like reload speed in the aura or increased armor with the relic? Most don't hold the relic, most have maxed armor anyways especially with a class chest piece, and reload speed is irrelevant. If you think people are impressed by 320 raid gear think again.

I want my Crota raid chest at 320! With Jester Apogee and Light Beyond Nemesis it looks like something Lenny Kravitz would wear on a European tour!

I like the raid armor. I enjoy it more than the crota armor and I'd say it's on the same level as VoG's gear.

1 ReplyUmm.. If you raid(and you wear raid armor), you can get bonus perks from the gear, so.... Wearing it can be advantageous. Should've been obvious.

Once people are 315+, the only reason to equip raid gear (imho) is if they like the aesthetics of it because at that level, the benefits of raid armour perks are nigh on useless. Personally, I recently infused all of my titans' full 320 raid armour except helm and legs - already have the PS exclusive and new IB helms at 320, so saving the raid helm, and my legs are staying until such a time I find a better alternative and an infusion buffer piece) - my titan is still 320, but now it has a 320 Armamentarium, 320 trials arms (luckily a female titan so those arms don't look hideous!) to go with the 3 x 320 helms and (for now) raid legs at 320. Much much better! I hate the styling of the hunter raid armour, so that'll get infused as soon as I can attain the rest of the ToO armour set for that. The warlock, well, the raid chest is cool, but it just denies influence from any shader, so it may be IB gear/exotic chests infused with raid gear as a mix and match set-up tbh.

I'm usually the relic runner. So I actually use the perks. The hunter gauntlets need to go though. Just need another set to infuse my trials ones up to 320

My gear right now is too low of light level for me to get it to 320 in one infusion.

I'm with ya. Full iron banner armour on each character. Other than the warlock helmet, I really don't like any of the raid pieces unfortunately.
