Year 1. Oh how I miss it and all the guns, but what if we could bring it back? Should we be able to buy year 1 guns that we haven't discovered from the kiosk? (without Vex and nechrocasm) I think it would be a good idea if you could buy them for like 1 exotic shard and 150 legendary marks. And why not? They are only year 1 guns and that might bring people back. Let me ask you a question how many times have you had a year 1 gun and dismantled it thinking it's not good but turns out it was good? Then they could get there gun back.
If you said no please give a reason and tell me if you voted yes or no

If you got the gun in year 1 ever then it is unlocked in the kiosk. If you didn't get the gun in year 1 then you shouldn't just be able to have it. Take thorn for example. I worked my a** off for that gun and still use it today. People who didn't put in the effort shouldn't be able to get it anyway

1 ReplyHonestly I think they should just eliminate the entire year 1 and 2 system. Not only does it through away all our hard work but it makes all the past expansions completly unless. If infusion worked for all gear on the game Destiny would be far more completed game as opposed to The Taken King being the only rewarding thing in Destiny. It just doesn't make sense to me why Bungie would basically take out any bit of work year 1 players had, but new players won't be able to really experience the entirety of what Destiny has to offer

8 RepliesVex and Nechrochasm should never be buyable IMO
-
2 RepliesIf we pay to buy destiny (all expansions = $200+) we should be able to do what we want. If we want to get some year one guns then we should be able to. Bungie can't just control our gaming experience. We pay for shit so we should have a say.

1 ReplyYou can at the weapon exchange
-
6 RepliesI like the idea but I can understand bungie's reasoning behind not doing so, as some guns with a year 2 version would be unlocked upon purchasing the year one version, such as the last word.
-
3 RepliesYou should be able to buy any gun except for thorn and G-horn. Thorn - thorn is starting to make a comeback in crucible (I don't know why) and people shouldn't be allowed to use it altogether (and yes I did use it back in year 1) G-horn - if you can buy it, the year 2 players will have never known the grind we year 1 players went through to get that gun and never truly understand why it's so important to year 1 players

1 ReplyI agree with this. The only issue would come with the Crucible being FLOODED with these guns. People will ask for nerfs for guns that aren't actually prevalent anymore.

2 RepliesEdited by COD_ONLINE_ID: 1/21/2016 4:07:46 AMYou shouldnt have to buy them, you should still be able to use them at the same attack value but bungie loves -blam!-ing shit up

5 RepliesWe should be able to use the guns we earned. If not then they should make new ones we like.
-
1 ReplyIf you have the year 1, a year 2 version could be offered for purchase. This might make playing VOG and Crota relevant again.
-
7 RepliesI think the price is too steep. Maybe for 25 marks considering the gear is useless outside of the crucible. And I would agree if the rolls were random which would motivate you to buy more because they are affordable. It would promote players using different weapons and get players back to experimenting. (Legendary weapons duh) Year one exotics for an exotic shard would be cool.

1 ReplyEdited by Trentin83: 1/21/2016 3:16:26 AMI bought the taken King complete pack a couple of months ago came with shard to level to 25 all expansions etc. I have all year one weapons available for exotic shard plus glimmer. Could be the shard which unlocked everything up to taken King unlocked all exotics for year one as well. If so you can buy the level 25 shards I think? Edit- just checked blueprints and the weapons cost 1 exotic shard and 2500 glimmer

Yes please. I wish I never deleted my VOG guns.
