I use 1000 yard stare because I can snipe storm trance warlocks and hammer bros with one shot to the head

All I know is that I used Eirene for a long time. Then I switched to 1k ys and guess what? Double down! I didn't even get a headshot IMO, I was two feet to the side but it counted two Headshots quick like boom boom! I think I saved the vid bc it was so ridiculous.

2 Repliesi use yasmin, uzume, eirene, and 1kys and i can tell you the best of them is either uzume or yasmin. 1kys is not overpowered, it's overused. actually, specials aren't special. nerf the amount of special ammo drops and i GUARANTEE people will not complain about special weapons. did anyone complain about sniping in halo? no because the power weapons were special

I think the main reason 1KYS is overused is the lack of snipers in ttk that can kill off res.

Eye of the storm pretty much does the same thing but isn't as consistent, although if you have like 1hp left its unreal... Whatever this bloody "accuracy" stat is in destiny, it seems to allow you to shoot into thin air, around 5 feet to the left your enemy, and still register as a hit... Every single time... Try it... Even if you get a rare sniper with guerrilla fighter, test it out its stupid... As it stands snipers need to be bloody heavy weapons haha so easy to use its ridiculous... Snipers should have 0 aim assist like am I the only one who thinks that makes sense? Haha I havent been so lucky to get hidden hand on mine but I can only imagine how much better it would become paired with guerrilla fighter :o

Its the same with Conspiracy Theory. If they didn't give away a high impact shotgun wit range finder for free then it wouldn't be overused.

It's just over used and annoying because everyone has it just like Conspiracy Theory and the aim assist excuses are just getting annoying now. I'm not a sniper by any means, I might have one equipped but I suck at sniping with it but Queen Breakers Bow or Ice Breaker I can dominate with.

People only complain about 1kyardstare because everyone was handed one as a quest reward. So naturally, everyone used it and found it to be a very good sniper.

True...and even then aim assist doesn't make someone a good sniper. The truth is that it's just easy to snipe in this game. That and the 1000 Yard Stare is really easy to obtain and has good perks and can res snipe. Honestly if Bungie took away the ability to res snipe or somehow changed how revives work in Crucible, people would be using a variety of snipers.
