16 bombs not enough to Kill oryx this week.
Did everything perfect. Kept shooting him while he was getting the bombs detonated on him and he had a sliver of health left. Showed 16 bombs detonated and he did not go down. More bombs to kill him this week?
Edit 1: We did the same thing a few tries later and it worked. Thanks everyone for replying. Good luck to everyone on Oryx this week.

31 RepliesEveryone that detonates bombs has to shoot him. If bomb detonators A, B, and C detonate bombs and shoot oryx but bomb detonator D detonates bombs and DOESN'T shoot oryx, then oryx will only loose 75% health instead of 100%. Make sense?

3 RepliesMy LFG results from last night. 1) one shot 2) same group using Alts, 3 shot 3) another LFG alt run, 4 shot. Don't blame the game, blame yourselves. What is your team missing in the fight? It's not the game. If you constantly blame the game and don't try to fix your own mistakes, you will never beat it.

2 RepliesWe went 4 clan, 2 lfg. 4 tries Same crew, alts. 1 go Same crew, alts. 1g Did the whole lot in an hour, it was magic. No glitches, no lag. You definitely have to go back to orbit and load back in every hour or when you have a few people leave and join.

3 RepliesNope did it all three times yesterday.. The detonators have to shoot oryx when they get back, also. If one person concentrates on something other than oryx that last time, then he will have a sliver of health left.

First two runs were perfect. First try done. Third tonight. You probably weren't shooting him during bomb detonation.

It happens lol glitchy as he'll lately ogre be teleporting my fireteam and I go an extra round just incase for that reason

Just for everyone from a experienced raider. What happens is: A few bombs detonate when there is no "black mist" comming from oryx his chest. If there is no black mist the bombs Dont count. Only the ones when there is black mist. If you do not enough damage you wont get the black mist to appear soon enough. Or if you detonate right after stagger. First clear adds and the relic runner has enough time to let the black mist appear. Also he needs to hit the shots. Dont miss them. Thats what happend.

You have to make oryx bleed b shooting I'm in the chest just before the bombs go off. That way you get full damage out of the bombs.

Someone missed a bomb we had the same issue happen last night one guys name only popped 3 times I caught it no one else in the fireteam did

Oryx is buggy with bombs-we detonated 16 bombs and did two bombs worth of dmg. Oryx was shot the entire time by a 319 and 320 with 318 and 320 ToM. He is just buggy sometimes-easier to do five rounds as a just in case. Generally works better and if you can do one round with no issue you can do five just the same
