Are voidwalkers failing?
With the storm caller out and the nothing manacles brought down to a near useless exotic, do you feel like voidwalkers in pvp are going downhill? With the Titans and hunters going strong, I can't help but be a bit upset that my favorite class is getting washed away by the competition

I run obsidian mind or the ram along with bad juju and I have a nova bomb ready about every two minutes with out orb help. So I think it is just fine and you still get the not so smart guardians who try to take a capture point with a vortex nova bomb still active and you get a kill once you leave the room, priceless!

There are a few things that are underwhelming and useless in the Voidwalker subclass. Angry Magic? Doesn't track squat. Embrace the Void and The Hunger? Omg TWO perks just to get your grenade energy back when you can simply boost your Discipline? What crap. And tell me why there are NO SUPRESSION effects? Defenders have a grenade for that at least while it's one of the Nightstalker's specialties. The Nova Bomb in PvE....why oh WHY would anyone use it when a rocket does the Same Exact Thing? Orbs? Yeah, wow, a whole two orbs for seven thrall and an acolyte. This all being said we do have great grenades and the extended vortex effect is excellent for crowd control. Bloom is especially wonderful and Annihilate coupled with Lance makes a great surprise attack for PvP.

I main warlock, and I eat, drink and breathe the void..... I'm pretty satisfied. And I'm pretty sure I use the nothing manacles more than obsidian mind now. Lol

Pve super damage they struggle but other than that I don't think there is a major issue. Pvp - manacles yes seem a bit lackluster. Sure you get two grenades which is still nice. If your bang on with scatter they are deadly but very unforgiving. For a good pvp player this class is lethal still and I would argue it over storm caller. I acknowledge storm callers abilities it's melee range and super are great tools. It's perks are nice too. Void walkers with health regen on melee, blink for those rushing or evasive moments, axion or scatter and of course nova bomb are also competitive. Pve - nova bomb dmg increase. That's it I don't think anything else is wrong with it for pve. Perks - as others have stated need looking at. Angry magic.... yeah...... why am I supposed to pick this one again?

I'd hate to admit it, but the whole purpose of me picking nothing manacles up, was the tracking and I'll sometimes hit someone head on with it, and it does next to nothing. I still like devastating a hammer titan with a force-fed nova right in his mouth.

Although I love the feel of Nova Bombing a large group while trying to get heavy, I think it would be cool to be able throw a bunch of mini bombs during activation, like HOS or something

Since manacles got nerfed I switched to voidfang vestments and axion bolts, I've also been using Susanoo a lot lately, It's been really fun and axions are great for finishing someone off or setting them up.

I used to love nothing manacles, but they have felt pretty ineffective lately. The tracking is hardly there.
