NF should have a chance of dropping 320 gear
Let's face it the NF sucks. If you're above 310 do you really need to do it? even if the possibility of a 320 was small it would be worth while but at the minute it's not. They need to make NF drop 320 gear to make it playable.

15 Repliesno they shouldnt. NFs are 280 light. NFs should have higher challenge tiers, like 290, 300, etc. THEN they should (and will) drop higher level gear, like 320. do you expect exotics to drop when murdering level 2 dregs? no? then why do you expect a 280 light event to drop an equivalent reward to a 300 light challenge event?

Agree, seriously don't know why Bungie hasn't fixed this. It is laughable that a special event has better rewards than the NF, supposedly a much harder endeavor. Come on Bungie, get off your asses and fix this.

I would have to disagree, getting 320 is hard, but with challenge mode each week and hard mode. Plus sparrow racing and iron banner, it is very doable. Bungie wants us to play challenge mode to get the guaranteed 320s. They don't want to make it easy to get to 320. I would suggest trying out challenge mode.

Worse part is we should not have to mention it, nightfall giving worse rewards than SLR is such a nonsense :/

It kinda sucks that your have to grind the crap out of the raid to bring everything to 320. If you get an exotic at 310, for example, you'll need at least two higher pieces (one being 320) to bring it to 320. This is true for every single piece of gear.

I think people should try doing the HM raid and try out the HM challenges because of the guarantee 320 drops. It will give you the player more experience and the chance of making new friends. Why should a 280 light strike drop 320 stuff? I think your lucky you have a chance for 310 gear

That was a nightfall, with the "nightfall" modifier. This is a high level strike. First people complain nightfall is too hard, so they nerf it. People complain about rewards, so they buff them. People still complaining about rewards. How about when we buy new content, they just give us max level. Entitlement generation, gotta love it.

Exactly!!!! Year one when you got an exotic weapon or armor it was bad a55 already. All you needed to do was use it to upgrade it. You didn't need to play the raid 10 times in hopes that you would eventually have something worth using.

Agree. The gear that drops should be dependent on your light level, so there is always the potential to progress in all aspects of the game.
