F*CKING. SUNBREAKERS!!!

Ahem. Now that I have your attention, why do hammers have like, NO blast radius? Like none? Pretty much a shittier Golden Gun. Does this not bother others? And can we have a little blast radius buff? A LITTLE one? Edit 1: A lot of people seem to be insulting my aim. What you don't realize is that I main a Bladedancer and feel as if some hammers should've killed me.

  • Forget the hammers. It's all about the shoulder charge victory uppercut. On sunbreakers. 1 hits a titan smash while smashing. I have traded with them several times.

  • Loving the glitch where the "grenades and horseshoes" type characteristic of the hammer proc's and tickles the enemy because of the lowered blast radius. They then proceed to snipe me with the conspiracy with range finder.

            • The blast radius was nerfed too hard. The proximity distance is larger than the blast radius, so it'll blow up on someone and sometimes do no damage with a direct hit.

                I actually rarely use my hammers and prefer simmering flames. I think that's a really underutilized option when running max discipline. Edit: also, I can't aim those hammers very well at all!

                  • The closest thing to SB at the moment is The Direct Hit from TF2, just it has gravity and no velocity buff.

                  • To everyone that doesn't stay on top of crucible related content please stfu. Hammers are having an issue currently with the blast radius nerf in conjunction with the "grenades and horseshoes" style explosion that they trigger. Basically they are triggering properly but the blast radius was nerffed enough that it won't kill unless it is a direct hit anymore.

                    • Before nerf I can one hammer a StormCaller but since the nerf I hit a StormCaller direct impact and it takes 2 hammers to kill 'em. For example, I run around a corner throw a Hammer directly on a StormCaller then they blast me with lightning before I can even throw a second hammer. I'm not saying that StormCaller is OP, I just think the Sunbreaker got the short end of the stick, lol. Note: Before you start trashing me about my K/D, I don't really care about K/D. It's about what happens in the moment. :)

                      • You're supposed to hit your target directly, and it's a close range super. It seems bad because everyone is use to using it at long range when it was intended to be a blade dancer type range super. It's still really good if you use it rightm..just not godly

                          • It's pretty weak all around at the moment. With the slower throw and the reduced homing it's harder to hit a target in the air/on the move.. so use it like a rocket launcher and aim low/for the ground, but even a single jump seems to hop over the blast.

                              • The blast radius does seem a bit ridiculously small, seems if it's not a direct hit, the hammer will do next to nothing Which, I don't have much of an issue with, it should reward good aim and penalize luck, but, if you hit somebody just above their head, chances are it'll only deal half damage

                              • I mean I got a breaker and a phantom in Iron banner with it the past couple days, but there are moments where I don't know how it misses. I think the low blast radius and the proxy detonation are causing problems. Either removing proxy or bringing up the blast radius should fix it IMO
