I SAY NO!! IT SHOULD NOT BE NERFED!!!!
And I think majority think no as well. But let's get some statistics here.
EDIT: Please feel free to leave reasons why in comments. Try to keep it intellectual and civil.
EDIT 2: I linked a podcast with lead sandbox designers from bungie on the crucible radio. It's very imformative. Not sure when part two will come out. I think it'll be good material to drive discussion.

It's not overpowered it's just easy to use. No nerf to damage or anything like that just make aim assist lower.
-
People don't even know what OP is anymore. There were only a few weapons that were truly OP, original Vex, buffed Thorn, original Last Word etc. No everything that kills someone is OP. You should just have one gun in the game and make everyone use it at this point.
-
1 ReplyIf they just lower the aim assist on it many people won't be so good with it anymore. thats the reason why the bullet curve video used a mida.

Rock is fine but scissors needs to be nerfed - paper
-
Nerf this nerf that. His I hate this community.
-
Leave it be
-
The gun is fine in my opinion, just remove the built in high caliber rounds. It secretly has high caliber rounds just like thunder lord has firefly. Trust me, I know. I'm just tired of losing easy gunfights when I shot first but I get killed because I'm getting staggered by mida.
-
Definitely not. It's been here since vanilla. If it was OP, it would have been weeded out by now
-
1 ReplyOk your telling me a weapon with decent impact somewhat low stability but very controllable a 21 rnd mag with third eye a boost to agility and a feather trigger isn't op? Your high 4-5 headshot hits and someone dies if you hit all of them that means you can kill up to a whole fire team with one mag from across the map plus it gives you max reload..... Let that sink in what other weapon does that? None it's bs just like how all the other stuff has been nerfed this will be to
-
It's the weapon of choice in the crucible now, but I don't think it needs to be nerfed.

Edited by Hangz: 1/2/2016 1:15:36 AMNo, It's been the same since year 1...
-
It's not that there's any outstanding features that make the MIDA great, it just has above average stats in everything, and is extremely forgiving when you miss.
-
25 RepliesI think it's a little much right now. A small 2-3 shot TTK extension sounds fine to me. Right now, it's as rampant as Thorn was in Iron Banner.
-
Nah, maybe a small aim assist nerf, but that's about it. If people say Mida is OP, then why aren't they complaining about Tlaloc? When Overflow is active, it fires faster and it does more damage than Mida.
-
4 RepliesIs the Y2 version any different? Why is there a call for nerfs after all this time of silence if it is still the same MIDA from Y1?
-
-
Plz change "lightweight" perk to "heavyweight" This weapon requires you to pull the trigger extra hard and slows movement speed
-
1 ReplyEdited by Phnx y0: 1/1/2016 3:58:38 PMIt's not that it needs nerfed, it just needs to be rebalanced. Right now, it has the highest rate of fire for scouts, it has high impact and very high stability, and it has the highest aim assist of any gun in the game. These are all small things but they add up quickly along with the ability to "sprint" from side-to-side while ADS. The only thing I would do is take away the increased movement speed while ADS and reduce the aim assist by like 20.
-
Other weapons should be buffed.
-
1 ReplyNo. And how about we stop nerfing shit altogether? ._.
-
Come on it is not even OP. It's just highly over used but the current meta is in other weapons. I would say: TLW, Doctrine of passing, ari-45/answering chord and suros pdx/hawksaw.
-
2 RepliesIf they nerf MIDA I am sure the community will go into a frenzy. It's not OP. There are plenty of other guns with faster killing times. I think people are saying it's OP because there are people that have been using this gun since year 1, and are destroying people with it.
-
1 ReplyIs a mid impact scout.... How can anyone think that the only buff (hair trigger) make the gun op
-
I don't believe it needs a nerf so much that other weapons need a buff

5 RepliesEdited by Romulus: 1/1/2016 5:01:52 PMIts not the god gun everyone thinks its. It's my go to primary and I get beat my fair share of times in 1v1. The mida is an amazing gun and while it can adapt in short range situations. It does have a comfort zone at mid range and sometimes, given how skilled the player is, long range too. For the most part however, using the mida is give and take and does actually require a bit of skill.
