Is destiny worth that money
I personally think destiny is bad because they rip content and make you pay for stuff in your game you are not paying 60$ unless you want a game that has ripped content. This game had a good story but destiny ripped it. Come on man.

TTK is 20 bucks and I never played it and I'm still debating. People said it made it better but uhg

I re-bought Destiny the other day while it was on sale in the XBL Marketplace. When I had it previously, I literally spent no money on the vanilla version + DLC... So $40 was no loss on my end. But if you had previously spent $80-$100 then no, it's not worth dumping more money in.. The MTs aren't even worth spending money on, IMO. You're better off getting the DLC from a friend if you don't want to spend the extra money.

2 RepliesThe only reason I played it for so long is because the game's RNG had the same effect over me as gambling has over people. I quit after TTK.

Edited by Solid Snake3324: 12/28/2015 9:21:17 PMI have been playing since day one but I gotta admit there just milking us till destiny 2 so I left after normal TTK raid above 100 completion in each raids VOG ,Crota,TTK 17 only but I don't know I just miss y1 tbh and all these newbies & try hards getting end game content through a stupid race makes me sad tbh and don't even remind me the constant nerf & buffs which keeps destroying this game.Recently played the alpha of division I can't say much but even its alpha stage it's already better than destiny.If anybody want know about the game I could give you a hint in your inbox ;)

i play it as new content arrives but now i have not touched it in like weeks , so i would say not really worth it the story itself is pretty weak but if you are into loot grind then maybe idk.

It is a rip off since most the DLC that you paid for has been rendered useless. That being said it is a fun casual game to waste time at.

However, I sort of wish I didn't and had played a bunch of other games instead with that time. At this point there are only a few story questions I have and would like to see resolved. I'll probably just read about it online instead of continuing to pay for it. It just doesn't have the involved story, universe, and characters I prefer in games. Which is normally acceptable for an MMO and is why I don't play MMO's. However Destiny isn't really an MMO. It's like a weird version of one where you pay for overpriced expansions only instead of paying monthly and it relies on replaying activities WAY more than traditional MMO's due to a lack of a comparable amount of content to a traditional MMO. Short version: Destiny is just an MO that wishes it could be an MMO.

Depends, if we are talking about [i]all[/i] of Destiny's content for $60, then if we are being fair, then it's worth the money. But individually, you're bias poll is right; it's a rip off.

As of right now, the taken king with all the expansions may not be the best game, but it is of $60 value. That doesn't mean you should buy it.

Half assed DLC for a garbage game. All of the content it currently has now, still doesn't make it worth anymore than $60
