Halo keeps proving its a better game.
We've gotten Forge. We can create a shit ton of maps and game modes and still have fun. What do you guys do? Wait 1 week just to do the same stuff over and over again. That's the most boring shit to do and you guys suck it up. Halo has slapped Destiny across the face and it's pretty obvious Destiny won t last for 2 more years

13 RepliesYou do know that The Forge was originally Bungie's idea.. It was implemented into a game of theirs loooong before the first Halo and has been used in all of heir Halo sagas so naturally they were forced to give up the rights to the Forge concept when Microsoft swiped Halo from their brand and practically handed it to 343 on a silver platter.. Yes Forge may be awesome in Halo right now but if you truly understand what it is then you can no doubt recognize that if given the proper support and time, the original creators of the variable that you hold so dear in this argument of yours will undoubtedly be trumped by something far superior.. Forge had years to hone itself from Bungie while Destiny is just now on its second year... Better learn to better cover your ass if you're so inclined to be so bold before you fathom just how deep certain roots run my friend

2 RepliesHalo!?! Lol! I wasted good money on that game recently. Very short and disappointing game in my opinion. I am a halo fan but that game is not halo. Those weak ass Spartans aren't really Spartans. Go down way too easy. And the pvp is no way better than previous halo games. Which is pretty sad considering that it had years of other games to learn from.

I actually played Halo Reach using backwards compatibility and was more impressed with its beginning cutscene and mission than I was with Destiny. But that was Bungie before they were Activision's puppet.

You[b]'[/b]re in #Gaming kid, we don't give a f**k about Destiny here, but I don't disagree Destiny is going downhill fast. But once again, obsessing over Destiny doesn't mean other games are good. If you compared what 343i did to the Halo franchise as opposed to what Bungie created, Bungie wins by a long shot. Bungie and Eric Nylund created an amazing science fiction franchise (ignoring that "halo legends" trash). 343i turned it into a science fantasy answering questions best left unanswered, over-glorifying a couple characters, having a lackluster cleché "story", and unable to include any of the details that made Halo so great.

I think the Halo 5 meta is fantastic and 343 have outdone themselves in a lot of regards however the game has a massive amount of features cut and half of the free updates we get will end up being old features put back in. You could argue that other companies do this and CHARGE for the content and that's totally a valid comparison however 343 deserve the flak they're getting for the campaign and multiplayer being very hollow experiences.

Wait one week to do the same thing over and over?[/quote] Well actually we wait one week to play a strengthened version of one of the many strikes with random modifiers forcing us to use different tactics. If I'm not mistaken Halo has a campaign, if you were to replay the campaign that to would be doing the same thing over and over. Halo has a multiplayer just like Destiny, people tend to play multiplayer over and over because that is the point of multiplayer, however Halo has a much less diverse range of guns, armour and abilities. And if you want to use Forge as an example then might I add that Halo 5 only very recently got it, many of which are poorly built maps that are pretty uninteresting, however if you want to keep on using that as a point then fair enough, but I would take raids over forge any day.

4 RepliesYou wouldn't know if it's a better game. You did the single player missions and decided endgame content was too hard, so you bash the game in your frustration. I love the Halo series, it's the only reason I ever owned a 360, but don't Bash a game you never fully played.
