Just deleted my 314 Titan and 313 Hunter together with all the good stuff.
Then I uninstalled the game from my PS4, after 306 hours of gaming.
If you wonder why read on.
The reasons I did this are the following:
- Grind, grind and grind.
- RNG awards (to get you addicted).
- Lack of new content / repetetive
- Introduction of microtransactions.
- Did I mention grind?
Basically, when you (quickly) finished the limited content, you feel like a rat getting a small reward for completing the same few mazes over and over again. Is that what you really want to spend your time doing?
You might ask why I still spent so much time playing Destiny? Because I love gaming. Gaming should be fun and not feel like a chore. I still game other games, but I also spend more time with family and friends.
Bye bye, Destiny.
EDIT: I never thought so many would take time to comment on this post. Obviously I hit a nerve or does all farewell-post get hundreds of comments? I actually had much more fun in the forum, than I have had in the game for weeks. Thanks!
Respect and peace to all faithfull Destiny gamers and also to those who decided to use a short human life on other (gaming?) activities.

1 ReplyDeleted them, but i bet you still saved their gear in the vault for a sunny day
-
I agree with th the reasons but 306 hours isn't shit, had more than that Oct 2014. I quit to play Fallout
-
5 RepliesYou should delete the app too, no real reason to come toot your horn about deleting and quitting except to get attention. Buy bye Felicia.
-
2 RepliesWhat do you have against the grinding? You knew you were buying a rng based loot driven game. And you knew it would have a heavy focus on grinding. As is the nature of loot games. So idk how you can complain about grinding. You got what ya paid for.

2 RepliesEdited by madmannyg: 12/14/2015 5:25:55 PMYou are like the 100,000 other ppl that post I deleted this game and here is why stating the same exact reasons. I keep playing because I like it although not as much. I'm sorry dude congrats on leaving but not gonna miss another b**** like you yet again stating that they are leaving. No one is gonna throw you a goodbye party. So why post the same drivel that we get almost everyday. If you want to be original do it with style and don't wine unless you want cheese ;)

306 hours. . Much woow
-
You're the casual poop that ruins the game smh
-
8 RepliesDestiny actually has more content that most other games now. Because you kept on whining about it for a whole year.
-
3 raid completions and only kings fall. Low grimoire. You haven't experienced the game as many have. It may just not be the right game for you. No worries. Their are plenty more games out there for you. No offense intended. I for one enjoy the grind. I don't like calling it that really but it is what it is.
-
So you played a mmo and then deleted it cause it was a mmo after 306 hours of play. Congrats.

1 ReplyWhy not just stop playing the game like I did? There's no need to delete all you're stuff after that amount of hours that u spend playing this game.
