So how did everyone become a pro sniper all of a sudden?
No seriously. Was everyone always this good? Was I always getting head shotted in year one? Did all the bk's leave and only the pros now remain?

Two factors. A lot of the less crucible focused players are in SRL right now. With shotguns nerfed even more, and some fusion rifles seemingly taking a hit, more people are switching to snipers.

I'd rather get sniped than shotgunned. What bothers me is when I get instantly sniped as soon as I go through a doorway. Especially when I know there's a sniper there so I jump or slide past the doorway only to still get instantly headshotted due to aim assist. But if you can't beat them join them so I use a Weyloran's with hidden hand and shortgaze :)

Not a pro, but I've been practicing since midway through HoW. I only use 1000-Yard Stare because it's like an LDR-5001, which I never had.

1 ReplyAll casuals are playing SRL for cheap loot they would otherwise have to do raids for, so only the pro gamers roam Crucible, hence the headshot counter going up.

Pretty sure yr1 snipers had more AA. Although 1k stare with shortgaze oh my.

Skill based match making is matching you up with people your level. Usually a sniper, Tlw combo.

I no what you mean I was really good at sniping in year one but now I feel average. I dunno if it's because I'm not as good without my Her benevolence or other players have got better.

No other specials I mean Side arms sure good but to a degree Fusion rifles ha they're a joke Yeah you can do good a game with it but it won't become meta Sniper is only option Plenty of snipers that are good out there Sure people can use the mystical " primaries " But specials are nice to have

Seriously people complain about anything they are worse at in this game. I started youtubing tips to snipe good and now I love drag scoping. FYI I just started sniping this year when trials came out. So I could compete. I also grinded to get both conspiracy theory and 1000ks. So just practice. I know you're not calling for a nerf but others will. 4 RepliesDoesn't take a pro to sit in around a corner with his reticle at eye level. Literally got on some destiny today and 4 skirmish matches were ALL camping snipers. It's the most annoying thing to play against. All of those matches basically went to time which is so stupid. They just need to nerf the -blam!- out of special ammo. And if they aren't gonna do that they might as well -blam!-ing change "special ammo" to "primary ammo" cause let's be real. NO ONE -blam!-ING USES A PRIMARY ANYMORE.

They aren't they nerfed shotguns so people use the easy learning kid hold your hand aim assist snipers
