Demand new DLC. Speak up.
In case you haven't heard yet, it's pretty much confirmed that there will be no year 2 DLC. In place of it, Bungie is making small events like festival of the lost and sparrow racing that require purchasing micro transactions to get the full experience. Your micro transactions are going toward creating MORE MICRO TRANSACTIONS. This is unacceptable.
Where is the new vex and cabal story content? Where are the new raids? You can't seriously expect one raid to last an entire year, with no new end game content and no new level caps. Time gating old exotics does NOT count as new content.
Speak up, guardians. Make your voice heard that you aren't going to stick around for pathetic small events. We need REAL content. DEMAND new raids. DEMAND new story content. DEMAND new gear and level progression. Make it clear that our micro transaction purchases need to be going toward something real. If the dev team isn't large enough, then hire more developers. This game has made more than enough money to support a large team that focuses on the living world of destiny.
Sign here if you're supportive of what I've said, and you support a solid future for destiny, not a studio taking advantage of us through micro transactions. Laziness and greed should stay out of the gaming world.

Year One: Bungie is greedy. They sell overpriced DLCs and everyone doesn't like it. If you don't buy it, You are left behind. Even the tower does that to you. Year Two: Bungie decides to give free events for a whole year. Using the micro money. Transactions are cosmetic, therefore optional and don't affect anyone but said person. But do you want to know the catch? The difference now is that everyone is buying the micro money because they chose to. You don't get locked out of anything. Your not forced to buy anything. And not buying anything doesn't affect you in any way possible. Everything we're going to get for the next year is going to be free because of the players that want to support the game and use those micros. In year one, we all complained about paywalls, and how their greedy. Not anymore. Now, you're bitching about something your not getting. Why? Is it entitled to you? Do you deserve it? That 140, maybe even more, dollars are going to brought back to you over the course of a year. And if not, you could always just leave this game behind and play another one that suits you. -[i]The guy with no house.[/i]

No. Demand Destiny 2 to exceed all of our expectations. I would gladly sacrifice content in the same vein as HoW or TDB, especially if I knew it would make a better sequel.

They never said no DLC, no did they confirm it, which does not mean there isn't one. 3. Every freaking game has micros, GTA is free updates but you can still buy cash for a better in game experience. 4. No one is forcing anyone to buy anything, this "pay to win" theory is utter BS. I bought a Sparrow and I'm not placing first every time. But I look awesome crossing in 4th, 5th, or 6th...and zero *blams* given. SLR is awesome due to the fact that you can farm engrams, and 310+ helmets and class items 100x faster than 3x (or 6) times of raiding every week hoping RNGesus drops something. None of you are game developers, none of you work at Bungie, and none of you have a freaking clue what coming in 2016. Quit assuming, accusing, and speculating. Shut up and play the game, enjoy what you like, and quit whining about everything.

30 RepliesI take it you didn't read the article today where they stated there will be 2 big content updates in 2016? One in spring, one in winter. One bigger than ttk.... In addition to small updates and events. Reading is your friend.

I see your point, but I think we can wait. I mean look around you, destiny is dieing. It takes a pretty long time to make a full fledged DLC that players won't get bored with as easy. Bungie's best choice right now is to release a bunch of events like sparrow racing or festival of the lost every month or two. That way it will at least keep us occupied until they come up with something...acceptable.

1 ReplyAgreed. I'm a beta player and I love this game, but there's no way in hell it will hold my attention until next September without a dlc. Festival of the lost and srl are pointless. If I want to race, I'll play need for speed. When I play destiny, I want to shoot shit.
