I'm finally a Destiny Veteran!
Me and my friends from school started playing about 2 or so months ago but today when I stayed home I beat Oryx HARD MODE.. whole thing. 3X EACH WEEK. Most players cant say that.
When they got home they were so jelous I could hear it in they're voices.
Anywys, I make them call me a veteran when we're around players we don't know and stuff..
I feel really powerful now that I'm one of the best.. aka veterans.
One more thing, I hate when people tell me they are a vet also bc they tried the raid.. I call them noobs.
Go veterans of destiny!

1 ReplyYour still a little wet behind the ears buddy you have to have been here from the Beta and the vanilla year 1 and your will never know the true power of the GODLY Gally and how much of a monster the Vex Mytho was in PvP 2-3 shotting people with complete ease. Alao you will never know the true meaning of the FOREVER 29 days....dude list go's on on the things you dont even know...u will say you are just at or became a novice wouldnt call you a veteran right now
-
^ beta player through everything. No long hiatus' like my friends had.
-
You have three hunters and that tells me all I need to know about you
-
you're seriously not a veteran...
-
That doesn't make you a vet kid, playing from alpha/beta forward makes you a vet
-
7 RepliesHave you beat Xylar though?
-
2 RepliesCome talk to the veterans when you have 2+ years under your belt
-
4 Replies2 months =/= veteran Veteran = about 7+ months of playing
-
Do you know what the word veteran even means? Lol
-
5 RepliesA veteran has to do with how long you've played. A man doesn't join the army for two months, kill a bunch of guys in one battle, then immediately call himself a veteran. I kinda-sorta consider myself a veteran because I started in The Dark Below age of Destiny. There are MANY more grizzled veterans than myself, as I haven't experienced the pre-nerf Vex or the reign of Suros or the loot cave. However, I Have experienced TDB things, and the HoW things, so I think I've seen enough to consider myself a vet to some degree.

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 12/12/2015 9:17:37 PMDoing the TK Raid, regardless of difficulty, does not make you a vet. It does mean you know the mechanics and can hold your own, but it does not give you VETERAN status on B.net or on Destiny. When did you start Destiny? I do expect a reply, OP.

1 ReplyAny one remember when you could be sniped by a fusion rifle in year one, or 4 shot by the Vex?
-
1 ReplyThat doesn't make you vet I have been here since day two and that is what makes me a vet
-
Negative kd and haven't go to Mercury yet You have a long way till becoming a vet
-
Did you do VoG or Crota? If not, you're no vet
-
1 ReplyIf you never soloed Atheon, youre not a veteran
-
No ghallerhorn? Fatebringer? Beating atheon without being guided? You re no veteran!
-
And this is why you now have the nickname of the destiny loofa cause you are good at scrubbing it up
-
Veteran? No. Recent raider? Yes
-
Stfu you are no veteran...
-

-
