Does it matter? Will the sparrow do any of the following: Raise kd? Help you through the raid? Give better rewards? Make you a better player? Do anything? Really kid? Going to complain about that? Its like complaining that you have shoes but the new shoes that don't do anything better, but they look cooler, cost money. Jesus, people these days..

4 RepliesIssue in having is this is a huge push that isn't just an asthetic anymore Sparrows have a set speed stat. They have special perks. This sparrow will also have to have these, and it will probably be a high stat value. Making the sparrow races partially pay-to-win.

Yes, I agree that -- while seeming to answer some players' call for sparrow racing -- this racing event would never have been added if Bungievision wasn't trying to make a quick buck off selling items associated with it. I realize you are just pointing this fact out and not necessarily saying that the event is a bad thing or that it will not be as enjoyable for those who do not pay any real money for the event items.

You can use any armor, shader, item, mask from the Festival of the Lost, jackolyte, you name it! In other words: Power does [b]NOT[/b] matter! You [b]DON'T[/b] need to spend a single more dime to enjoy the races! Chill. Eververse is still not pay to win. Bungie is not milking anyone for more cash. They are true to their word.
