1 ReplyLooks like all the money people spent on Halloween event paid off for the people who didn't pay a dime so don't forget to spend that money on a new sparrow so the next event is even better
-
How is it disguised? They came right out and said it.

4 RepliesThere better be a way to earn some new sparrows and racing costumes. Won't be any point playing more than a few games if there isn't. It would be a dick move to make new, awesome-looking sparrows and the only way to get them is to spend money. Also, if there are enemies on the tracks, won't light level matter? Seems a little strange to me.

The microtrans ones will be just as fast as the FIRST sparrow gained doing the quest line.
-
1 ReplyOnly if you want the flashy ones that look better. Performance wise, they'll all be the same
-
No disguise, people know the best stuff will cost money, but no one cares because it's all cosmetic and it will be fun and free excepting those few best sparrows.
-
"Cleverly disguised", yeah, cos we havent all spotted that have we?
-
In my opinion It's not "cleverly" disguised. It's the live team. They gave us emotes those of us that wanted to paid, wich funded the festival, those of us that wanted to paid again, wich funded this, and now this will fund something else fun. It's a seperate department and buget within bungie. Let the other departments fix there stuff and the leave the live team alone they do fun stuff.

33 RepliesEdited by TeddyBundy: 12/6/2015 7:26:36 PMYup. In fact we get the shit we deserve. We failed as a community...buying useless crap for real money totally destroyed the progress of Destiny. They're focused on squeezing out more money with microtransactions with little to no effort instead of improving/expanding the game with real new content. Just look at what we've got since the Drop of Taken King around 3months ago and what we'll get the next weeks/months: - Timegated quests/exotics we already paid for with The Taken King. - A vendor that sells useless crap for real money. - A halloween event focused on selling more useless crap for real money. - A questline focused on baiting new players to buy the game. - More timegated exotics we've already posessed or paid for. - Another event focused on selling more useless crap for real money. Not a single word on real new content. That's our fault by helping Tess Everis to be the biggest profit machine the game could have. The funny thing is: Most of the sheep are happy with it and defend it.

Since day 1, players have been posting requests for sparrow racing. I've never really been that excited for it, but I think it's cool that it's there. Just because I'm not stoked for it, I know that a lot of players are, and I think it's cool that Bungie made a game type that so many people have wanted for a long time. Personally, I would rather have a custom forge type feature that allows players to make their own maps, which would also include the ability to make sparrow racing courses. I think that would be a more robust feature that would add to the game a lot more than just sparrow racing.

OP is mad because he doesn't mommy's credit card to buy a sparrow with. *tips fedora*

I see no issue any of it. Rather looking forward to it, actually.
