Last Iron Banner - Attn Bungie
Just wanted to give a nod to Bungie on this last iron bannerr, I thought it was much improved from the first new attempt. The grind actually felt worth it this time as the reward system was much more plentiful thus making the whole exp. feel a lot less like a grind. I also have to give a big thumbs up to this new system that breaks up teams that are way to unbalanced in an attempt to give everyone a better chance of getting a win here and there, esp. for those who are running solo and found themselves in a poor team assemble/dynamic.

Agreed. Rewards were definitely worth the grind. Prefer control vs clash tho. Too many campers

Agreed, rewards were up, lag was down, and match making felt like a challenge but not overwhelmed. Good job guys.

I think it was vastly improved. Rng wasn't on my side for end of game drops, but the packages were nice.

I liked it but prefer control. But there were a lot more close call wins this iron banner.

My opinion on this Iron Banner (in terms of programming/software not users) PROS Packages were a nice touch Drops were much improved The weekly/daily bounty system makes the grind feel less and gives you marks (i know its a year 2 feature) CONS Lag was still very much present (easily the most frustrating point) Clash was different (i prefer control), why not rotate them like the 6v6 classic playlist? and include the whole range of maps? Being spawned into a game when massively losing (a quick way to a medallion i suppose) (on contrary to the above comment) Being broken up when you we lucky enough to find a team that worked well together. The weapon balance (half way through) made very little difference, not sure whether that is a pro or a con to be honest. Please bring back reforging for iron banner gear (like Y1 where you could only perform it at lord saladin when the iron banner was active), it was the single most enticing things to make the grind 'worthwhile'

Agree with you 100% in the balancing. At first I was I was games where I got dominated, but as the week progressed I was finding myself in games that were always within 100-1000 points of each other. Very stressful!

It was "worthwhile" this time, but enjoyable?... I dont know about that tbh... The drop rates imo still need to happen more often since we cant reroll the perks this time. Got a decent Nirwens and Scout @ 315 light so I cant complain. Iam not a fan of Clash tho...

Got a 320 Ghost, a shit ton of 305+ chest armor,and 318 boots . Pretty worth for me

A single week gave better rewards then previous weeks beating hard Mode raid and crappy nightfalls, so yeah, this IB was worth the grinding... Let's not see what this challenge mode will bring... If again crap equips like this week, rather stop raiding and just play when iron banner arrives

Maybe if it was control (fun wise) but yeah the grind was worth it
