Fatebringer needs a HUGE buff
After finally killing the templar or whoever in the the vault of glass, I got the supposedly coveted Fatebringer to drop. I've read posts on the forums and watched videos on YouTube about how AMAZING this gun is. I was invited soon after to a kings fall raid and saw that as a wonderful opportunity to test my new gun. Let me tell you how terrible this gun really is. Taken thrall? Better get ready to fire half a magazine. Phalanx? Fire your magazine, reload and finish him off.
Overall, this gun is absolute trash and I don't recommend anyone to try it. Don't listen to the videos and other reviews. Fatebringer is TRASH.

6 RepliesUser error. I went into King's Fall with Fatebringer and it was amazing. Merely pulling it out forced all the Tomb ships to line up, forming a bridge for myself and my allies to cross with ease. The Warpriest himself came to greet us. He kneeled in awe and respect before the might of my mighty Fatebringer, and gave my fireteam a private tour of the Dreadnaught; including a trip to the treasure room so we could all load up on 330 gear. Golgoroth so feared the wrath of my Arc Handcannon, he refused to come out and we had to settle with drowning him in liquid light. I killed Oryx with a single shot of my magnificent Fatebringer. The Firefly explosion was so epic it rained Year 3 Arc Gjallarhorns from the ceiling. The Speaker then walked out from an alcove and congratulated me on my unparallelled skill in wielding such a powerful weapon. He offered me a new Handcannon, one that could alternate between all 3 elements. It handled like a Hawkmoon with all lucky bullets and even had Thorn's burn damage. I turned him down, for no Handcannon that ever was or would be could match the raw greatness of the noble and transcendant Fatebringer.

Pretty much the only special and heavy weapon I use. Don't know why you are having problems with killing thrall?

Yea man, I tried using fatebringer on kings fall heroic and did not get very far. They need to buff it.
