Not until we have the whole ISIS situation handled.
-
States can't deny them Lel. Those governors who say they won't let them in look like idiots
-
Just toughen the system that allows them in. Done
-
I think it's too early to say

7 RepliesEdited by Raul: 11/18/2015 7:21:23 AMWhy should America let people in who hate this country anyway

14 RepliesEdited by Seven: 11/18/2015 1:28:02 AMYou want what happened in Paris? Say yes. If you have the not as morally good but likely smarter option/opinion, don't let them in, say no.
-
All of you voting no understand that if ISIS wants to attack the US they can likely easily manage it whether or not we accept refuges or not...
-
1 ReplyGive them background checks and citizenship. Welcome to the most racist country in North America.

4 RepliesHow the -blam!- are they going to travel ALL the way to America on a wooden boat?

48 RepliesEdited by IIIEPINEPHRINE: 11/18/2015 7:41:40 PMNo. While I am a big advocate of helping others, I place my own well-being and safety and that of my fellow Americans above foreigners.

No. I have enough people to hate as it is.
-
8 RepliesBut the real question is, would Syria take in American refugees? I don't think so, imo.

Edited by NeXuS: 11/19/2015 12:32:52 AMUntil you guys (and the rest of the western powers) stop arming rebels to fight Assad, unintentionally (or perhaps intentionally) arming ISIS, or stop bombing Syria completely, then YES. It's a moral obligation. The West (spearheaded by the USA), Russia, the Rebels, ISIS, and Assad, are ALL to blame, but you guys across the pond just stick your fingers in your ears, close your eyes, and hum "It's nothing to do with us", or you spout the usual ignorant rhetoric; "We've got enough problems as it is". Newsflash arseholes, this IS your problem, and you're as much to blame as the rest. Some would say you guys are more culpable. The good old US of A (and some European countries) destabilised the entire region, and now the refugees are flooding Europe. Take some -blam!-ing responsibility. Capitalism, democracy, freedom; coming to a city near you, whether you like it or not. Im starting to feel like this might become an actual practice.

9 RepliesUS should take care of their 30,000 homeless vets before giving 10,000 refugees a free home food and healthcare. I do feel bad for them but there are plenty of other countries they can go
-
2 RepliesNo. You can only be so "politically correct" until the bomb goes off.
-
I voted yes.
-
For all of you saying no you're letting ISIS win by planting the fear that an Immigrant is gonna blow up in a Walmart. We should always be inclined to help people. However we shouldn't let anyone in until after intensive screenings.
-
2 RepliesTbh we have enough problems inside the US as is, not that i dont want to help them or anything, but i think we need to figure ourselves out before we let even more people come in
-
16 RepliesWe don't need more bullshit in this country, the gates have been opened far too wide for far too long.
-
of course, how can we be so cruel to turn our backs to people in need?
-
4 RepliesA short cartoon about the refugee crisis. You kids like cartoons right?
-
1 ReplyI think we need to solve our problems before solving other people's problems

169 RepliesAnyone voting "no" has forgotten what is printed on the Statue of Liberty:
Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me: I lift my lamp beside the golden door.
