I killed Atheon in 30 seconds
It was the funniest thing in Destiny I've seen in a while!
We got in the shield and we had 2 tethers, 1 golden gun, 2 sunbreakers and some other guy sniping. It was also hard mode.
Then I got Monte Carlo and flipped out.
When I got the rewards, they didn't appear on my screen. I had those rotating diamonds for about 10 seconds and then it disappeared.
Some guy said I got Monte Carlo, and I laughed, because at the time, all I talked about was how much I wanted Monte Carlo. *Spongebob narrator voice* "12 seconds later,"
Me: hey what's that shiny thing in my primary slot? *Hovers over it* *Monte Carlo* *Screaming ensues*
EDIT: Why does everybody hate this? I'm not bragging, I'm just happy because this and the hilarious team I had made me laugh through the whole raid, and we ended on a high note.
EDIT 2: I was so excited for Monte Carlo because I told myself before I did the raid, "If I get Monte Carlo today, I'll buy a PS4 instead of an Xbox One." I was torn between the 2, so this was my decider.
EDIT 3: There's this idiot who thinks I've never done Vault of Glass before. Of course I have. Inspect my Titan, and tell me I've never done Vault of Glass before. I'm saying this is my first time doing Vault of Glass after The Taken King, and with the new weapons and supers, killing him is a LOT quicker than Year 1, without Gjallarhorns and Sunsinger glitches. I just found it funny, I know it use to take longer, and a lot of people have killed him this quickly before. I'm sorry for having a laugh.

It's a sad state of affairs that Paradox as the daily to trigger the NTTE quest took longer than a Vault of Glass run took during the NTTE quest. At the start of the year, Atheon seemed unbeatable to me. Now, he's pretty much fodder.
