So ToM is now a requirement.
Can't do hard raid cuz I don't have ToM. If you need 6 on your team you mustn't be very good.
Edit: 11/14/15 Beat oryx on hard with a group that only had 3 malices. Suck it haters!

I never state that I have Tom when I post for groups. Does it matter? Not really. Is it easier with it? Heck yes. I three manned last bit of oryx. Wouldn't have been able to if we all didn't have touch.

Makes it easier Proves you beaten the raid Shows you're a player with some level of dedication. Agree it's not 100% needed.

It's not needed but you have no excuse not to have one. It's not rng.

You know, in all the raid groups I have been in there has not once been a time where anyone was kicked for not having a malice. This includes the clears during the week the new content dropped (when everyone was under leveled and it was actually seriously helpful). Tbh, I can kill all 4 ogres using my malice and blessings alone. It really shouldn't be a requirement anymore. It's more symbolic of showing how serious a person is about the raid. The quest is super quick/easy and shows a level of commitment to a team. I am not saying other gear is not indicative of a commitment. I am just saying the ToM is more of a right of passage.

1 ReplyThe reason why is two fold : 1- because it's not an RNG weapon, so it just takes some grinding. No excuse not to have it. 2- even though it's not really needed it helps beating oryx tremendously...especially the fact that if someone dies 5 TOm or even 4 Tom can still make him flinch.

3 RepliesHa-ha, it's ridiculous. I have all three classes above 310, and no ToM. I've completed the Raid on hard with all three of my characters, and when I use myTitan I always do ad control! This whole "you need a ToM" is bs.

You don't need it, but it's the Dps king for Oryx and Sisters. If you're just being hard headed and not spending the 45 minutes it takes to get it.... how can you complain about players who did work for it not wanting to raid with you? It's not hard to get, It's an awesome gun. No RNG involved.

Dude... Just go get it. You need to beat normal. Kill a couple specific dudes and farm a little. You could do it in less than a week

You have a point...you don't need 6 Toms' to beat hard mode but my question to you is...did you beat normal mode? This is ur fault because you just haven't put in the time to do the quest line if you have beaten it on normal.

I'm missing a single fragment from the raid even if I had this frag and got it I would just infuse it into a diff primary [spoiler]because if I even planned to do the raid again it would be with friends who have fun and not req a weapon[/spoiler]
