Buy rechargeable????? Seriously, batteries are pricey! Every raid someone's got to change their batteries!

Edit: looks like ALOT of money has been wasted. Xbox needs to get on board with their controllers!

Spent 18 bucks on 2 rechargeable packs with a charger year and a half ago, target on clearance. Best purchase ever. Haven't spent anything else.

I have used a shit ton of batteries. I have rechargeables but only can charge one at a time because I only have one controller. So sometimes both die and I have to run and get non-rechargeables.

I bought battery packs to charge my controllers. It doesn't charge faster than I use it, though, so it basically just keeps it alive.
