Buy rechargeable????? Seriously, batteries are pricey! Every raid someone's got to change their batteries!
Edit: who has spent the most in the last year??
Edit: looks like ALOT of money has been wasted. Xbox needs to get on board with their controllers!

I have rechargeable batteries, but I have spent a fortune on controllers and headsets since he One came out.

Buy a charge pack, people. I have spent exactly $0 on batteries and I have two controllers. Xbox One, had it for over a year now.

1 ReplyI bought the MS Play and Charge kit. It's worked perfectly fine for me over 18 months. I plug my controller in each night when I'm done and never run out of juice when playing. I tried a couple of rechargeables and they simply never worked right.

1 ReplyI used to leave my controller plugged in... But then it stopped working. Don't know if it's the controller or the usb. Been using alkaline cells, too lazy to charge batteries. Buying them in bulk at Costco makes it pretty inexpensive. I plan to get some low self discharge cells soon, and cycle them. The 3+hr charge time (of my lacrosse chargers) makes them an inconvenience if you don't have them charged ahead of time... And fast charge rates deteriorate the quality/capacity of the cells.

So Ps4.......

-
bought a pack of rechargeables 2 years ago for $20. still work great
-
I just have the usb cable that came with the play and charge kit constantly plugged into my controller. It's like 15 ft long.
-
I use rechargeable batteries almost never run out (maybe 2-3 weeks) then switch and wait for 4 to be burned out... Recharge and bingo! Never ending cycle of free batteries
-

My 360's batteries seemed to last forever and now I see the Xbox one goes through batteries like batman goes through robins

2 words: Rechargable batteries ;)
-
Every time I buy rechargeable ones they break in about 2 months
-
wired controller wired turtle beaches no batteries 4 me
-
Bought an official xbox charger/battery box, doesn't make it any larger than standard. And the charger plugs into the mains, just put it on when I'm done.

Rechargeables only last so long unfortunately. On my 360 I had some that never would charge, pain in the ass to keep it plugged in and sometimes the signal gets lost when you're down to plugin only.
