Xbox seems to be reconsidering split screen.
Okay so if any of you are in the Xbox Live Rewards program, you probably noticed they have monthly surveys and reward people with money towards games if you complete them.
This months survey focused completely on split-screen/multiplayer, and asked if and what console you play co op games on, what genre of games do you like to play co op, and if you play split-screen or online multiplayer on these consoles (consoles were Xbox, Sony, PC, and Nintendo).
I answered truthfully to each question, and realized how little I play split-screen anymore, and only play it on nintendo when I do.
So I ask you, do you [i]really[/i] play split-screen anymore?

1 ReplyI would play split screen more if their were more major games that offered it other than COD. I loved it on the 360 and have been so disappointed ever since I picked up my One that very few games on it have that option

How can I play split screen when developers stopped making split screen games? When I come across a coach co-op game the wife and I both like then absolutely I play split screen almost exclusively. Unfortunately they are now very few and far between

I'd love to, if games that were good actually had it. Sometimes I played AW with my brother splitscreen, but he doesn't want to anymore because he finds destiny more important. Maybe BO3 will help that (it has splitscreen, right?)

Only with Nintendo games. They are designed to be enjoyed with other people sitting next to you on a couch. PC is basically entirely solo or online multiplayer, and Xbox one and PS4 cater players towards buying their online subscription services nowadays.
