So, Halo 5 owners...
What's it like spending $60 or more on a six hour game?
: Edit : Hahaha! Seriously, I thought everyone would ignore this thread. Guess that'll learn me... Nice to see both sides though. Nothing worse than thinking your money isn't well invested.

In the world of PvP games, halo is waaaaaaaaay down the list. Halo was always about the characters, story and team/pve gameplay...the multiplayer aspect was it's weakest link, except with Reach which was the FIRST, the one and the only time they tried to focus primarily on PvP. Now it is supposed to be the other way around? lol...

7 RepliesAre you kidding. I'm only on mission 5 and have put in over 6 hours. There are 15 missions total, if I read it right, so not sure what your point is, who the hell wants to rush through a game.

The campaign was fun and engaging. The cinematics were top notch. I actually learned about the characters and cared about them. The matchmaking is nearly flawless, and warzone adds a lot to the multiplayer. Overall it's worth it already, and there will be plenty more fun to be had.

So u paid 60 for the game + 40 for 2dlcs + 40 for taken king, but 60 for a game with all the dlcs free is a bad thing?

10 RepliesNever played halo before until now. Halo 5 multiplayer is addicting and well designed. Although I've put in tons of hours on Destiny, most was boring grind and filler time. The halo story is short but I loved it. It's intense, has substance, and no weird mysterious, "I can tell you but I won't guardian" bs lol. I'm happy with the game and think the quality of the few hours put into it so far greatly outweigh the many hours put into destiny. Probably gunna play until I unlock everything which seems like it will take a long time. Then come back to destiny when the new expansion comes out. I want to get Master chief collection now to try out the other games too. Anyone think it's worth it for the story alone or should I just read about it?

9 RepliesHow is it like to spend 60 dollar on a 6 hour game that makes you run the same shit over and over again? Then to spend 40 more on a season pass to play a couple of weeks longer also running the same shit again. And then to put the cherry on the cake pay another 40 on a dlc that makes all the old shit useless and gives you like 3 new strikes and a raid while removing the use of the older raids. Now tell me how does it feel to be ripped off ?

2 RepliesI have almost 10 hours into multiplayer after the 7 hours it took me to do the campaign. I haven't even scratched the surface of Warzone and I'll do the campaign again on Legendary solo then with a four man team. Well worth the $60 in my opinion, especially since all future DLC is free.

I'm not chuffed to be honest. I bought it thinking it would be better. Pvp is a massive improvement on destiny but I'm not invested in my character. Doesn't feel like mine. Upgrade paths need implemented. But hey ho.

Single player isn't great. Multi player is MUCH better. It's actually balanced with no crutch class and weapons. I'll still play destiny, maybe do a raid a week with friends. At least until fallout 4 comes out. I'm sure I will come back when new content comes out, or they fix the pvp.
