I'm seeing so much Warlock hate.
I main a Warlock and am best with him. Had him since the Destiny beta. Now over the months I've been seeing more and more hate since TTK came out. "The Warlock is a crutch class!" or "Warlocks are good at dying. That's why they can do it twice!" shut the -blam!- up. The Warlock is a good class for a lit of PvE. Well for me at least. My raid team usually invites me because I'm a Sunsinger. And you're gonna need at least one self rez Warlock. I just don't understand all the hate for it.

1 ReplyThey complain about everything else than theirselves. That's normal, somehow. It will never stop being like that. As a hunter, warlocks and Titans are unfair. As a warlock, hunters and Titans are unfair. As a Titan, hunters and warlocks are unfair. And this is the story of how specific terms are born: Fist of panic, self-Rez-pussies, bladecancer... You can go on. I read a lot of anti-warlock-shit here in the forums, but if you wield your abilities perfectly you will be necessary in every way as any class. One will be able to check and detect a bad gamer. It's okay. :)

I main a titan, but have a hunter and warlock as well. I really don't like the hunter so far but I really like my warlock

I find Warlocks cool, I admit it is my least used class. But I don't "hate" them.

1 ReplyIt's not a warlock hate thing, it's a 'me vs them' thing. No matter if it's classes, guns or time played and so on... This community seems to need a way to climb into a niche and ostracize others. So much for social gaming.

I main a warlock - but for pve I honestly think hunters and Titans are more useful. Self Rez is a nice panic button but warlocks lack a tactical option - everything is pure dps

I think all classes in the game are great, and each gives something to the game that the other can not. Because one class outshines in the current raid does not make it a better class than the others. I truly don't understand this elitist and entitled argument over which class is better than the other. You all need to calm the -blam!- down.

I know what you mean but it happens to Titans and Hunters as well. Year One: Titans are terrible in pvp they just panic their way out of everything. Year Two: Titans are too overpowered the hammer kills everything. Note: The hammer is overpowered but we get more hate than necessary.

The wars over the Sunbreakers OPness and Shadowshots OPness got stale, so now the whiny kids are going after something that came in the base game because even Warlocks have to catch grief for something trivial.

IMO the class isn't as important as the player. And that recovery is just lovely. Let's not forget having a stormcaller on add duty. Yeah, there's uses IMO I still hate the floofy jump though. You can like it, that's fine, I hate it with a passion. Straight -blam!-s me up every time I run my warlock.

I don't either. I also have had a warlock since the beta and he's my only maxed character. When Datto said warlocks are garbage tier in the raid, I got really mad. Warlocks are very useful in pvp as sunsinger
