Seems a bit unfair to pvp players huh or at least sets them at a disadvantage lol
But w/e
EDIT: I guess my "seems a bit unfair comment" suggested I was complaining... Fret not I can clear that up, I'm merely pointing out the TINY advantage that some players will have... I found it amusing is all nothing serious. I look forward to enjoying both Hard Mode & Trials.
Also why is so many people's 1st instinct to comment on posts with something really cheesy & negative in mind? In turn my 1st response is obviously going to be rude. You get dealt with accordingly, simple.

How many people are really gonna beat it? I ain't scared!

4 RepliesI don't understand whats wrong with you people you buy the game for the FULL content so why so rebellious against the raid?
-
If you're good at pvp, you should complete pve activities no problem.
-
I actually agree with you. PVP and PVE should be separate. They should make Iron Banner gear the entry level gear for trials.

2 RepliesEdited by THEUNDEAD565: 10/23/2015 10:53:18 PMSo you're saying an event to cater to those who have the best gear will be unfair? Wow... what a concept...
-
2 RepliesDid you play IB? The level advantages are the same, meaning virtually nonexistent.

Get friends you bums

Skills can be the decider Not gear.

Edited by Nell421: 10/23/2015 10:18:30 PMNot to sure about this. You make a good point, but to me it seems like pvp players would have a greater advantage, simply due to the skill they develop after playing that much more crucible. While pve players who've done the raid might have raid gear, fighting mobs of taken and bosses is very different from fighting another guardian (at least from my experience) and thus to me it seems like it balances out, if that makes sense. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe pvp players can unlock the ability to do special crucible bounties, which offer nightfall-level rewards, so there's that.

Depends on what the cap is. If it's 300 or 310 then it's no big thing.
-
How many people are truely gotten do hardmode... wait crap them tryhards at it again
-
I've personally found that most people that are PvP nuts also play PvE and excel in both areas. I haven't personally seen too many "PvP only" players. People that are good at crucible are usually better at PvE than strictly PvErs
-
If its anything like ib there wont be much of a difference and most of the raid gear is garbage for pvp so unless they fuse some better stuff not really worried
-
Dude, obviously they will be stronger. That's how math works

Completing that shit tonight.

3 RepliesIf you don't play PvE, don't complain when you get into Trials being 306 light and get smashed by a team of people who put the time in to level up their gear. Regardless of what you think end game gear should be or how it should drop, it's obviously not working like that so work with what you have. Light level in Trials is fairly unimportant anyways, if you think it affects PvP that much, you're clearly not very good at Crucible or just making excuses for your poor skill cap.

5 RepliesI personally feel 10 more light isn't gonna change the outcome of a Trials match. It's so much more strategy than it is power.

1 ReplyEdited by LEGIT DUDE147: 10/23/2015 9:38:46 PMThis is a good point. If ONLY iron banner and trials was still an endgame activity that dropped endgame gear.
-
6 RepliesAlready beat hard mode so I'm good lol
-
6 RepliesWhy? When you complete heroic King's Fall does Bungie mail you a lagswitch?
-
5 RepliesNothing shocking here. The best PVP players will be great at PVE. Unfortunately, the reverse is not true.
-
I know this is a shocker but guess what? PvP players do raids too!!!! OMG!!!!!!
-
The strongest in trials is me, when I'm -blam!-ing benching 140, 140 BPM, nothing harder than my new mixtape 'roadmans revenge" tell your friends peep my sound cloud

Meh.. I remember going 8-0 with one of my teammates being a 27 lol. He was a boss
