One Pool Golgoroth Strategy A Cheese??
Ive done both strategies. Multiple pools, and single pool. Both work, however the single pool is easier to get the hang of. But Byf has stated that the single pool method is a cheese. What do you guardians think? Personally I think its just a safer strategy. There is no exploitation of game mechanics at all.

And he's sitting here practically making a new raid. Anyway no it's no it's not a cheese. Cheesing involves skipping a mechanic or more of a fight. Like hanging off that ledge to avoid oracles. Or completing the bridge section by only having one guy go across. The one orb method still uses every single mechanic in the fight. The one orb mechanic is safer. But that's it. Trading gazes with proper communication makes the fight end faster. The only people who think its a cheese are people who struggled against him in the first week trying to get the trading method down.

Probably won't work In hard mode, so it doesn't matter.

I don't see an issue with it. I'd consider it a cheesy strategy that's effective. I started doing it that way recently and found that it's much easier and reduces the amount of chaos.

I was thinking hardmode will add a symbol to the glyph if you fail to capture gaze.

How is it a cheese in any way? That's like calling 3 orb or 6 orb stragedy a cheese. It's a good stragedy for new players to the raid and it's not game breaking in any way.

Since the orb regenerates this is not a cheese. It's there for a reason we're just allowed to do it because we have better gear. On release of the raid he would have enraged because lack of DPS. It's not a problem anymore just a safer strategy

No, just bad mechanics. A good change for hard mode would be that You will be given less rotations so You need more pools in one run.

Not a cheese, just a strategy. I just did single orb method yesterday for the first time with a group that didn't want to juggle. My raid team usually juggles and we can kill Golgoroth in our first rotation if we have a good run, but one orb is really simple. Not cheese. I doubt Bungie will let anyone one orb in hard mode, but for easy, its a legit strat.

What I think? I don't think Byf knows what a cheese is. A cheese takes very little effort at all and neglects to use any or very few of a certain encounters mechanics. Atheon and Tempar for example. No Relic. No teleporting. No detainment shields. No more than 2 minutes.

Legit strategy. Definitely not a cheese. According to Byf, you have to play the way HE thinks you should play. If your not, its either OP or a cheese.

That's not a cheese a cheese is using Pulse grenades/solar grenades to knock off Templer or Warlocks Solar grenades to knock of Atheon or Climbing Crota's Tower at bridge phase to de spawn enemies. Those are chesse. One pool strat is a legit working mechanic that requires 5 members of the team to focus fire on the boss so they can pile 6 orb/pools worth of damage in 1 orb/pool.

Mweh, just people being salty someone else is using an easier strategy. Nothing is being glitched, circumvented and even use the same positions as doing it "legit". So, no, not a cheese. However, it seems likely losing the gaze will result in a glyph added to the tablet of ruin (just like a death) in hm (at least, seems logical). So itll probably not be a viable option for hm. If im right, then calling this a cheese is calling dying and reviving a cheese too

So what, they play often... they dedicate a twitch or youtube channel towards suckering people for views in order to make money, so what makes that person the all saying voice of how a game should be played. Chances are, people like that need a swift kick in the dick to shut them the f#ck up real quick.
