How is someone who plays an hour or two a day supposed to stay competitive? It takes way more then that to even farm the 40-50 weapon parts needed to upgrade a legendary item. the fact they would nerf the drop rates of weapon parts makes no sense at all. Let me clarify, this is just a thought, i have plenty of time to play and have over 2500 weapon parts. Just thinking for other guardians out there who do not have as much time as others

Edited by Slapdash_ID: 10/17/2015 9:45:10 PMI only really get to play Thursdays. I binge play but, if you were to do a weekly average it comes out to about 1-2 hours a day. You just need to find the activities that fit your time. CoO is a great way to boost Light Level. Pretty much all my Light Level has come from infusing CoO gear into my stuff.

Thanks for your concern!! Can you please change the title of your post to "I want attention AMA"? Thanks buddy!

This post made me a casual

1 ReplyThey want us to use the microtransactions

Edited by Rog-meister: 10/17/2015 8:29:54 AMI don't mind grinding resources but it's the shit behind time walls that annoys me

I went from hardcore to casual with this shit. I already have so much time invested in this game, but apparently that's not enough. So -blam!- it.
-
3 RepliesThis game us spoon feeding casuals. Dont have weapon parts or armor materials? Run court of oryx. You get 2 engrams per minute if you are running reciprocal runes.
-
12 RepliesYea i especially love their super politician style response as to why they did it. Apparently having less weapon parts somehow keeps important items we want to keep in our inventory relevant? What does that shit even mean?!
-
I'm casual simply due to lack of available time. I might fall behind a lot of the community but it just means the game retains more entertainment value for a longer period of time. I'll catch up in time
-
3 RepliesIt's more casual now then ever ... 3 of coins boosts exotic chances. Daily pvp/pve is once per account. IB is far easier to rank up. etc ...
-
simple by waiting for tess to sell upgrades and armor and weapons.. for it will come....
-
3 RepliesYep year 2 is a drag. Bring back year 1. At least I could get exotics in the nightfall. Now I get nothing ever. Almost done with this. One more raid.
-
Unless you can get 309 light like me you're just a "filthy casual" -Deej. You will not be ready for hard raid sorry.
-
5 RepliesThis game is a grind. It always has been designed to be. No lives such as myself don't feel the grind anymore because we stockpiled so much crap we won't ever run out for a very long time. I still never understood how people ran out of weapon parts... I didn't even have that probably when I was a scrub.
-
1 Replyyour light 304 - that's not bad for someone who cannot play much.
-
They gotta keep those playtimes up, just one more thing you have to spend even more time grinding for, though it wouldn't surprise me if this was done so they can start selling weapon parts and other stuff for silver.

DONT TAKE THE B8
-
I do just fine. I barely do anything besides raid and the occasional daily mission, but I keep up. There's a lot of half leveled weapons in my vault but I've gotten enough to level raid weapons and important exotics. Infusion is the big one that will eat all your WP.

1 ReplyHey I remember you i tbagged you before in skirmish

4 RepliesHave you pulled weapon parts from your other 2 characters? You could try just running around the spawn point on the dreadnaught. Lots of engram drops for me this morning. Ran around for maybe an hour. Good luck to you guardian.
