I've seen my Spartan die due to the Guardians several times. My Guardian dies to the Architects.

Not enough info on the biology of guardians to determine who would win. Based off of weapons and the fact that Guardians can harness the power of light they would win. Right now I see guardians as master chief doubles with super powers.

This isn't a fair match up. Spartans are augmented Humans that are bound by normal human laws. Basically, they're just really, really fit humans to the point where they're incomparable to normal humans. Super athletic killing machines with superhuman reactions, above-and-beyond peak physical conditioning and exceptional training. Guardians? They're resurrected Human/Awoken/Exos who have the power to lift themselves several feet into the air, create Grenades with their own power, literally coat their bodies in primal energies and can utilize paracausal weapons that defy physics. Something tells me Chief's trusty energy shield and Assault Rifle won't stop a Golden Gun or Nova Bomb.

Not gonna vote can't decide. I think it would be a good fight. Lots of you guys seem to think the guardians would have trouble damaging a spartan but one solid hit from a brute shot seriously -blam!- up an unshielded spartan it's in the books halo cannon there tuff but far from impervious. Both are super soldiers forged for war. Both of their physical stats are well beyond human capability. But we have little to no technical stats on guardians. How strong are they? How fast? How tuff? We don't know for sure. Spartans we have concrete info on all of these so we really need more info

Armor lock all supers would do no damage then spartan would shot them in the face and win

Not really a fair fight. Guardians have powers that defy science and the ability to return from the dead. As much as they denied it, Spartans do die in battle and despite being trained from 6 years old to fight, that barely compares to the power of the Traveller manifested inside a dead corpse with no objective other than "kill".

Let me answer this in a completely unbiased way. Guardians win. Now, Spartans - specifically the chief - have the better training and armor. They're practically bred for war after all. The chief once immediately got up after falling from space and began fighting. However, guardians have ghost, and it would take quite a bit of sheer force to take one of them out. The awoken certainly did so with mysterious space magic that can punch a hole in the dreadnaught; but a spartan doesn't, so therefore they can keep fighting. Most of a Spartans weapons are purely bullets or energy, and god knows how much of those guardians tank in a single day. Not to mention, we have space magic. Sure, the new Spartans may have rip-off Titan abilities, but we have warlocks able to create miniature Suns - and no Spartans armor can survive that. Hunters and their blade dance are arc energy(plasma), effectively meaning they're running around with the sword that can one hit spartans. Any elemental weapon , in fact, would punch through a spartan, who's armor has a clearly demonstrate able through equivalent actions, minimal to no resistance to these things. Every guardian is capable of immensely devastating things, yet a spartan can throw a grenade, at most, which a guardian could withstand. We could get into very specific weapon arguments, but we won't, so I'll end by once again adding that guardians armor and shields are extremely effective against the majority of weapons that a spartan holds.
