Signed, The only thing helping me at this point is glimmer. When I get desperate for weapon parts I just start buying year one exotics. The cost 2500 glimmer one exotic shard. Break them down you get the shard back an average 4 to 6 weapon parts per breakdown. It's sad but glimmer seems to be easier to come by nowadays than weapon parts.

Nah, Weapon Parts were the only thing I didn't use to level up factions.

I have 4 weapon parts across 3 characters.

I thought I had enough across 3 characters until burning them up leveling factions, now yes it's a pain for me to gather them. My experience sez armor drops at a maybe 2x higher rate than weapons. [spoiler]BUT- No one ever promised me a rose garden[/spoiler]

3 RepliesThey have made it really hard for weekend players to get any where. Spend most of the morning farming strikes for motes and parts just to upgrade my hung jury I have been working on. The game is becoming very un-fun. Seeing a lot of friends leave already.
