Is There A Fast Way To Increase Faction Reputation Gain?
Before TTK, I leveled my New Monarchy,
Dead Orbit, and Future War Cult factions to rank three since there was no reason at the time to go further. Now that they've introduced exotic class items I really want to try to hit rank 25 with all my factions. Does anyone know the fastest way to increase my faction reputation or at least how I can maximize my reputation gains?

Motes are the fastest. Heavy ammo works well too. I've found the cheapest way to get heavy ammo is at the Reef from Variks. It costs a fallen consumable and less glimmer(250 I think) than the gunsmith (950 I think). Easy way to gain some heavy on the cheap...assuming you have a bunch of the Fallen consumable which I always do. The black wax idol is good too but I seem to get less of those.

Edited by 6 speed: 10/20/2015 7:27:24 AMIf you have black wax idols, turn them in to Eris for heavy ammo. I had just scrounged most of mine from all three characters to hit 25 with NM. [spoiler]She doesn't charge glimmer but it's two idols for a heavy ammo synth[/spoiler]
