You're forgetting objectives where a sunbreaker super cam easily alter the balance of objective control due to its nigh invincible status and ability to clear objective areas. If the other team can't stop or at least hold off HoS (which is usually only possible when the titan is pretty bad relative to the other team), the titan's team can switch control over an objective point and then dig in.
