Old raids are obsolete
I think Bungie ruined the old raids and Prison of Elders because their loots now are useless.
Bungie you need to do something about it!

I find the old Raids fun. Try doing them with only Snipers or some other weird Rule Set you and your Fireteam come up with. Try hilting everything. lol

You can still have fun with the old stuff. The Three of Coins can be used to keep the old raids relevant in the sense that you can get year two exotics from Raid bosses. Hell, running Crota at a high light level is an easier way to get year two exotics than many other activities.

2 RepliesFun fact you can use motes of light to upgrade your gear by using them in the inventory. Motes of light can be obtained by exchanging materials you get from the older raids and raid gear. So by doing the old raids you can get a lot of motes of light which you can use on your gear or faction of your choice.

Just use materials for new upgrades and all they need to do is maybe let the old raid armor drop at 280 and infuse with new raid gear ect

Destiny database had exotic class items at launch which TTK just now included, ALSO both raids have a 2nd set of gear in database thats not obtainable so im expecting updated raids at some point.

2 RepliesTrue but if they buffed the vault and crotas difficulty along with all of there associated loot then it would just expose the kings fall gear as being bad in comparison for example the doom of chelchis (raid scout) even with the best role is still just vision of confluence light version, same with the hand cannon, the ar from kings fall is just bad, the rocket is not as good as hunger of crota was, the defiance sniper is not as good as the back hammer for pve or the preadiths for pvp, i admit the pulse looks good and the oryx lmg is actually really good, the oryx shotgun is not even close to found verdict, so as a set i think the oryx guns pale in comparison to vault or crota guns. If they were to buff vault and crota they would also need to buff nearly all of the kings fall weapons to make them worth pursuing over the old raid stuff
